Excellent. Thats how all my 64mm 4s are flown. 80A predator esc and 5s 2200 lipo. Of all the jets that need the extra oomph the Rafale is the one that needs it most. Found the fms 3150kv or xfly 3300kv to give about 1.6kg of thurst on 5s.

That's fast on a 4s 64mm. Those Mecury EDFs can really move some air. I have the Mercury 90mm EDF on 10s in a Back Horse L-39 Albatros EDF Jet. It moves the big jet around with authority. After seeing this I must build a 64mm Banshee Sport Jet with the Mercury 64mm EDF. It's a very slippery airframe.

Yeah buddy! They are awesome edf units. A 64mm edf that makes as much power as a 70mm is pretty great.

Is it possible to show the set up on another video? Especially the underside on how the edf is attached? Is there also carbon fiber strip there? Or just on top with glue?
@ILLSMOQ2 ай бұрын
I did post some pics of RC Groups here www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=52115279&postcount=16606 Basically I emended carbon bar on the top of the wing to bolt down the edf. And simply used hotglue on the bottom of the edf to attach the bottom to the fuselage.

Yeah, it takes a few tries to get to go straight and then rockets ,pebbles and divots can push it off course. It also requires a long roll out before you can let it take off or it will stall. Once in the air, it flies nicely and the rudder works great.

Now you have me thinking of a "backup" too.. lol. I have tooooo many airplanes. Kevin

Yesterday she was been blown in every direction. I could put a AR631 or 636 in, but I don’t want to install a jet profile and those things. I’m too lazy. Then I got as a gift a ASW17 cheap foamy in 2,3m which is cool for fun and hang flying too.
