I just wish the word count display would stay on should you decide to close Google Docs and reopen it at a later time. Because you'll end up having to redo the ctrl+shift+c command, click on the "display word count while typing" box to bring it back up again.

No wonder this country is going down the tubes. They invented this video verification requirement, only to throw barricades. They deliberately obscure the means to remedy the issue by hiding their support services.

I've sent a video a couple times and nothing but radio silence. in fact the only option I ever get is to verify by video and I work from home so it's not east to get verified. I also cannot stand they auto link your Gmail account so my email is wrong I don't want to use my Gmail email from high-school.. lol.

Thank Brian for this information. I've been racking my brain to figure out how to reclaim a business page since the previous office assistant died. We had no passwords to the email address or recovery email address used. I didn't think to just follow through the with request access button. Google replied that if we don't hear back from the owner after 2 days, then we can get access. Problem solved.

Has the verification process changed. Actually has the whole process changed? I'm creating my google business profile in March of 2024. It is showing as not publicly visible yet also as verified. There is no explanation of why it is not publicly visible. My business is not visible on maps because google now says to not include address unless you have a permanent sign out front. I don't and I don't want people showing up at my home office. Seems like this video is outdated now. Do you have a fresh one with current functionality for Google Business Profiles? Thx.
