The real fear of haredi rabbis is not that their young people will stop being religious. Rather it is that their young people will actually BECOME religious. Finally they will be exposed to religious soldiers whose avodat Hashem is not the reflexive behavior of people cowed, browbeaten and, at times actually beaten into submission by by their rebbes or roshei yeshiva. The haredi rabbonim are terrified that their spiritual prisoners will be living, fighting, davening with truly religious men, people whose love of Torah and observance is not the result of haredi fear, i.e. fear of man rather than fear of G-d; in other words real men who do not maintain their observance out of fear of social ostracism, or being cut off by their parents, or being beaten by the Gerer Rebbe's secret police. And they will see how one can be a true Torah Jew by fulfilling the mitzvah of defending our People, by working for an honest living, and by being liberated from the fear-driven darkness of haredi obedience into the light filled life of behira hofshit, of choosing to be a Jew in every sense o the world. And the rabbonim know that once the floodgates are open there goes their power base and their business.

Haredi Hesder would pose a serious problem. Because it would require the soldiers to actually learn Torah, which is hardly true for most haredi young men who do not avoid the army in order to learn Torah, but who, rather, make believe they are learning Torah in order to avoid the army

I hope it's okay for me to comment here as a non-Jew, but I just wanted to say what a beautiful and unique message it is that our connection to God should be akin to an intimate relationship. Life is so sweet with intimacy. Thank you for making this video in English so that a non Hebrew speaker like me could understand and be touched by it. I hope that gentleness prospers over might.

Be leary of the antichrist of Christianity who is known as the false messiah in Islam, and the greatest deceiver according to Islam who is called messiah dajjal (the false messiah in Islam), and there seems to be a similar conceptually in Judaism as well. Greetings of Salaam (peace) to all of our brothers and sisters through our father Adam and mother Eve. (greetings of peace to all Muslims, or Jews, or Christians, as well as any of the other faiths, and to all of God's creations, and may we protect ourselves from the evil suggestions of satan, his spirits, and those who decide to follow their evil suggestions). This may be literal, or it may be religious symbolism in as far as the sun rising from the west as the end of times gets even closer to the day of judgment according to Islam. Science has recently discovered that the inner most portion of the earth has been rotating in reverse as of now, you can research this on your own because I'm not a scientist or physicist. When the sun rises from the west, because the earth starts rotating in the opposite direction, (symbolically or otherwise), marks the nearing of the day of judgement. Whether you're a Muslim, a Christian or a Jew, or any other faith at all, we all are the children of Adam, and satan is our greatest avowed enemy, and tries to convince people to commit evil. However, only those who choose to follow satan's evil suggestions, or the suggestions of his satanic spirits who implant evil suggestions in our minds are influenced. Therefore, it is our job as the believers of Islam to try and spread the truth of Islam, without ever forcing anyone, because Allah (God), knows what's within your hearts, and only you can accept the truth on your own after reading the holy Quran in full, with contemplation, in full context, and with understanding. The Arabic speaking Christians refer to God as Allah also. God is unseen, has no shape, form, or substance, in paradise He will grant us eyes to be able to see Him. The Quran is the final and never changing revelation of the one and only true God available for all of the world to read, it is a mercy and blessing from the one true God during these end of times that we live in. The antichrist (messiah dajjal) in Islam means the deceiver. The antichrist appears before Jesus returns, and Jesus may peace be upon him will kill the antichrist in Islamic belief. According to Islam the real prophet Jesus may peace be upon him, a man, a prophet, a creation of God returns after the appearance of the antichrist, at some point sometime before the day of judgement, whether we are alive at that time or not and kills the antichrist. Jesus, his name in Arabic is Eesa ibn Mariam, which means Jesus the son of Mary (virgin Mary, out of respect, whom in Islam we consider as if she were our mother). The one and only true God (Allah) never allowed prophet Jesus to be crucified, humiliated, and be killed, but instead, Allah (God), raised Jesus up to Himself, and those that witnessed his supposed crucifixion and supposed death were shown only an illusion. And because every creation, every soul that God created must die before the day of judgement, and so too therefore Jesus, may peace be upon him must die as well, and that is why he is sent back, and that is when Jesus kills that false messiah, the antichrist. The original unaltered Arabic script must always accompany the translation next to the Quran in order for it to be the actual holy Quran, the translation is for those of us who cannot understand or properly read Arabic like myself. Unless the Arabic script is included with the translation next to it, and in the entire book format, it is not considered the holy Quran. This is to make sure that you don't read some pamphlet, or a passage written alone out of context to misguide you, or some other false propaganda about Islam. The "Hadith" are different from the Quran, and most of them are made up, many Hadith were just made up to keep people away from the truth which is Islam. The last and final unchanging revelation of the one and only true God is the holy Quran. And only those Hadith which are not in contradiction and are in full harmony with the Quran are deemed reliable. So be sure you read only the Quran, the entire book with the Arabic script right next to the translation and not a supposed Hadith. Then after you learn about the one true God, without any partners, if you wish, then you can study the Hadith and be able to discern the real from the false made up Hadith (many false Hadith were made up by the disbelievers to distract people from the truth which is Islam). For instance, there's some false propaganda I've heard of in regards to Islam that was occasionally being promoted in a joking way to make it appear realistic every so often. According to this supposed made up false "Hadith", or some joke like seeming propaganda regarding Islam, it was falsely stated that if you blow someone up who is a disbeliever, you will go to heaven and get virgin wives. Yet I realized that there were no bombs invented 1,400 years ago to begin with! The holy Quran mentions no such horrible act, however, unfortunately some people get influenced by this propaganda to keep them away from Islam. Islam is only about the belief in the one true God, that has no equals, or partners in worship, Islam is about peace, kindness, mercy and forgiveness. It's funny now, actually laughable, that I've heard such propaganda, only to later realize that there were no bombs to begin with 1,400 years ago!!! Yet they falsify their utterances, trying to deceive you and act as if those were somehow Islamic teachings. So, be sure it is only the holy Quran that you read, and it must contain the original unaltered arabic script next to the translation, in it's complete entire book form, in order to be the actual holy Quran. Do not rely on the internet, or pamphlets, or anything or person other than the holy Quran, read it in it's complete book form, from beginning to end, the holy Quran always contains the original Arabic revelation next to the translation. The original Arabic always accompanies any translation in order to prove that the corresponding translation is from the unchanged, and never changing final revelation of God. If even one of you reading this enters paradise after studying the Quran cover to cover and reverts (we were all believers in Islam at birth), if this causes any one reading this to avoid the eternal fire of hell and enter eternal paradise, then I hope that God willing, God will forgive me, and forgive all of us of our past and potential future sins, (that all of us human beings are prone to commit at times). The Quran also states that amongst the Jews and Christians that believe in the one true God and do good deeds shall enter paradise and have no fear upon them. I suspect some people are Muslim at heart, knowing that there is no God but the one true God, and know that the prophets were all human including Jesus, to whom was revealed the gospels (Injeel), and Moses to whom was revealed the Torah, but we all know those past revelations have been altered, and there are no original copies that remain. There is no God but God, and we are living in the end of times, and God is merciful, and does not leave anyone lost, and without guidance, therefore the holy Quran is a mercy and blessing from God, it is the last and final unchanging revelation of the one and only true God. The last and final prophet Muhammad was human, his God was the one true God, the God of Abraham, of Moses, of Jesus, may peace be upon all of them along with the past true prophets. There are no more prophets to arrive after prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him, and prophet Jesus returns so that he too can die, because he hasn't yet died but rather Allah (the one true God) raised prophet Jesus (may peace be upon him, unto Himself). Upon the return of Jesus, is when prophet Jesus kills the antichrist. In Islam we accept all of God's prophets, and know that the last and final prophet was Muhammad, may peace be upon all of them, after whom there are no more prophets to arrive, and the Quran was and is the last and final unchanging revelation that was revealed to prophet Muhammad through the holy spirit, which is arch angel Gabriel over a span of several years, and the holy Quran is a mercy, guidance, and blessing for all of mankind during these end of times. The Hebrew Torah (or it may be the Book of Psalms), still contains the last and final prophet Muhammad's name if read in Hebrew, because Arabic and Hebrew are sister languages, the name and meaning is the same. However, there are those that are caught and entrapped in an infrastructure and may be unaware of Islam, and there is no doubt that they are unsure of their beliefs, but the holy Quran can clarify the truth to them. The Quran states that amongst the Christians and Jews who believe in the one true God and do good deeds shall enter paradise and have no fear upon them. May peace and blessings be upon you all, and the holy Quran is available for all the world to read and ponder over. If even one of you finds the truth and enters paradise then I pray to the one true God that my sins, as all human beings have committed, and are prone to commit, are forgiven. I wish everyone reading this peace, truth, and blessings, and may you and all of us including myself avoid hell fire, and earn paradise. Amen.

אחד הפרקים המעניינים, גורם לחשוב הרבה. הייתי שמח להפנות למר קידר שאלה לגבי הסיפא של הוידאו הזה - בהקשר של המילה ״ג׳יהאד״, רק כדי להשלים את הבנתי עד הסוף: האם כשהוא אומר שסטודנט הולך לאוניברסיטה ומקדם bds משם זה ג׳יהאד, זה נגמר שם, בפעולות עוינות כמו bds? או למשל, האם ללמוד באוניברסיטה מקצוע בעל משמעות בטחונית, כדי שאולי בעתיד יוכל להשתמש בו - גם נחשב לדעתו (ו/או לדעת האיסלאם) לג׳יהאד? כלומר, ביצוע פעולה בעלת פוטנציאל פנימי לקידום האיסלאם - אבל שאין לה סממנים ישירים של הכנעת הכופרים, אלא רק קידום המוסלמים
