@@motovalleyenduro It was a slow pace putt around with the buddies kids, was definitely warmer than the 300. I do more xc races than Sunday groups rides. Hopefully the fan kit on order helps a little bit. I tried a 2 stroke for 15 races, i did just as good on a crf250f. 4 stroke is just easier to ride to me.

I remember when I had the SC2 on my Husqvarna, it worked but gotta say the TPI feels much better. A large temperature change upsets the settings. SC2 worked for me because I don’t know how to change jets on carburetors. I hope Beta puts TBI soon on their bikes.

Was the tko way more difficult than the black diamond?
@motovalleyenduro2 ай бұрын
Depends what we are talking about. The US hard enduros are very different. Black diamond was difficult but it was only the one race. These races have several races before making it to the main event. The main events would make Black Diamond almost look like child’s play. The qualifiers leading up to the main events usually increase in difficulty as you go. As an example, RORR’s qualifier this year was as difficult as Black Diamond but the main was other worldly. You have to remember, even the amateur classes in the states have some VERY talented riders. They do not compare well to our classes here. This year at TKO it was part of the FIM world hard enduro series, the best of the best in the world were here and they said the main was challenging. Don’t take anything away from what we have here. Black Diamond was awesome and perfect for the skill level in Ontario and Quebec in my opinion.

@@jacobbieler1876 I love the 350. I think it’s an awesome woods bike. I had a 390 but like the 350 engine more. The 390 was a torque monster down low but had nothing up top. For me the 430 and 480 are just too big. I don’t need that size engine in the woods or on the track.

@SmartCarbFuelSystems5 ай бұрын
Great job tuning! A hanging idle and off-idle bog together almost always indicates a lean condition. You can really hear the improvement as you went in the richer direction. We don't want to get too hung up on the number of clicks required for optimal idle quality and throttle response as the SC2 has the finest resolution of adjustment of any carburetor in this space. 5-15-25 clicks shouldn't be viewed as being a large adjustment when each click only moves the metering rod .0012 inches or just over a thousandth. Different fuel compositions regionally do play a role in the baselines so while we're typically a bit rich out of the box, sometimes the opposite is true. Happy riding!

I really hope it's a lot faster than what it shows in this video. I don't doubt it'd be fun in the deep and in the trees, but a 20 hp engine seems a bit anemic. Even with a decent power to weight ratio. I'll be doing a lot more research, so I'm definitely not going to pass judgement based on this single video. This is just my first impression. It does look fun, but for the price I'm really hoping this video just didn't do it justice. I do love the idea though.

Need more snow than we had for this video as well. I’ve owned a Snowbike and I think more snow would let it carve better. Also, it does take some getting used to. I was only on it a couple of hours. I think there are more videos out now with some riders pushing it a bit more.

I have ridden a Husky 350 and a KTM 350 Factory edition. The KTM felt good, the Husky felt terrible. I have moto’d this bike a few times and the suspension is awesome. It certainly is the bike for higher speed XC racing, GP racing and fast hare scrambles. Not an advanced moto bike but certainly capable up to an intermediate.

I love the traction control on my 350. I run with it on all the time. I notice exiting corners I don't get near the amount of wheel spin that a bike without TC would. Helps me keep the bike under control and more where I aim the front than a bike that just spins the rear.
