I had this done on 9.8.24. Examined first of all by a nurse who said to me "I am worried about this" and then handed me some tissues! My anxiety levels rose at that point. Then had a mammogram, radiographer asked me to go into next room and wait for the doctor. A lovely Indian lady came in and introduced herself and did an ulttasound after which she said she needed to do an aspiration to check if a biopsy was needed. She cleaned my skin and carried out the aspiration. Straight away I could see the gunky fluid in the syringe and she said "no need to worry, it was a large cyst and you have two smaller ones which are of no significance at this point, so no need for a biopsy as no signs of cancer." A great relief having had breast cancer 22 years ago, but felt quite annoyed at the nurse who voiced her thoughts for adding to the anxiety I was already feeling. A simple, painless procedure so please don't worry if you have to have this done.

For anti cancer promoters: meat and milk of ruminant animals Here is a summary of ten research studies on the anti-cancer benefits of trans-vaccenic acid (TVA), a naturally occurring trans fatty acid found primarily in ruminant-derived foods 1. **"Trans-vaccenic acid reprograms CD8+ T cells and anti-tumor immunity"** by Bose et al. (2023) - This study found that TVA improves the ability of CD8+ T cells to infiltrate tumors and kill cancer cells. Patients with higher levels of TVA in their blood responded better to immunotherapy, suggesting TVA could be a nutritional supplement to complement cancer treatments. 2. **"Trans-11 Vaccenic Acid Has Anticarcinogenic Properties in Experimental Models"** by Banni et al. (2001) - The researchers demonstrated that TVA inhibited the growth of mammary tumors in rats, indicating potential anticancer effects. 3. **"Vaccenic Acid Feeding Increases Tissue Levels of Conjugated Linoleic Acid and Suppresses Development of Premalignant Lesions in Rat Mammary Gland"** by Lock et al. (2004) - This study showed that dietary TVA increased conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) levels in rat tissues and reduced the development of precancerous lesions in the mammary gland. 4. **"Trans-11 Vaccenic Acid Reduces the Risk for Experimental Colitis in Mice"** by Jaudszus et al. (2012) - The authors found that TVA supplementation reduced inflammation and the risk of colitis in a mouse model, suggesting potential benefits for gut health and cancer prevention. 5. **"Vaccenic Acid and trans Fatty Acid Isomers from Partially Hydrogenated Oil Both Adversely Affect LDL Cholesterol: A Double-Blind, Randomized Controlled Trial"** by Gebauer et al. (2015) - While this study found that both natural TVA and industrial trans fats increased LDL cholesterol, it highlights the need to distinguish between these sources when considering health effects. 6. **"Trans-Vaccenic Acid Is Converted to Conjugated Linoleic Acid in Mice"** by Santora et al. (2000) - The researchers showed that TVA is converted to CLA in mouse tissues, which may contribute to its potential anti-cancer benefits. 7. **"Trans-Vaccenic Acid Is Desaturated to Conjugated Linoleic Acid in Mice"** by Turpeinen et al. (2002) - This study confirmed that TVA is converted to CLA in mouse tissues, supporting the potential health benefits of TVA through its metabolic conversion. 8. **"Trans-11 Vaccenic Acid Reduces Hepatic Lipogenesis and Chylomicron Secretion in JCR:LA-cp Rats"** by Wang et al. (2008) - The authors demonstrated that TVA reduced liver fat synthesis and the secretion of lipid-carrying particles in a rat model of metabolic syndrome, which may have implications for cancer prevention. 9. **"Comparison of Conjugated Linoleic Acid and Vaccenic Acid in Milk Fat of Sheep, Goats, and Buffaloes"** by Mele et al. (2009) - This study analyzed the TVA and CLA content in milk from different ruminant species, providing insights into the variability of these potentially anti-cancer fatty acids in dairy products. 10. **"Trans-Vaccenic Acid Has a Higher Bioavailability than cis-Vaccenic Acid in the Rat"** by Chardigny et al. (2003) - The researchers found that TVA had a higher bioavailability compared to its cis isomer, suggesting that it may be more effectively absorbed and utilized by the body for potential health benefits. These studies collectively suggest that TVA, a naturally occurring trans fatty acid found primarily in ruminant-derived foods, may have anti-cancer properties related to immune function, tumor suppression, and metabolic conversion to CLA

Carrots have beta carotene due to their orange colour correct? When carrots were purple (500 years ago) did they have large amounts of anthocyanins and little beta carotene or have they always had both nutrients in similar quantities to what we have in the present day?

Don't agree with completely taking out healthy fats from nuts and avocados to lose weight. Just limit the portions. Once you cut out animal foods, oils, and ultra processed foods, you will lose weight.

Yes they can be a problem for weight loss if you don't measure portions and you over eat them. In research studies with nuts and avocados they have been shown to lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular disease risk.

One of the problems with cysts is that the cyst is a sack that holds fluid. You can have the cyst drained over and over and over again but the cyst's sack does not go away just because you got it drained and now it is smaller and not painful nor noticeable. You have to eventually have SURGERY TO HAVE THE CYST SACK REMOVED.

I cannot have SOY. It gives me the WORST stomach aches. Also, Soy crops in America are severely sprayed with Glyphosate, so unless it is non-GMO and locally harvested Soy, it is not suitable for you either. This is what Dr. Barbara O Neil recommends. Hence, Red Clover is a must for me. But I am up for the rest of the smoothy.
