I think one of the cool things about this project is how it becomes more polished as you play through it at the start (background changing, buttons changing, ball moving slightly, achievements appearing). Aside from the horror and story parts, I think that’s a pretty neat part of the game and a good idea for its own game.

There's an old flash game like that. It's called upgrade complete and you basically upgrade EVERYTHING. The game even starts out with you needing to buy the loading screen to load the game iirc.
