I bought two Kast King Sharky III 5000 reels. I used them about 2 months ago surf fishing and absolutely love how smooth they cast and retrieve. I’m no pro so take it for what it’s worth. I might add I was using 3 and 4 oz pyramid sinkers.

Great question! It really just depends what I’m fishing for. Panfish, go smaller, if you’re trying to target bigger fish like bass or pike, you can for sure go bigger. And colors, I love the fire tiger, or a plain gold or silver blade, or dark like purple or black! Hope this helps. Thanks!

You need to show how to rig the pop Shadz properly because it makes a huge difference how far back you rig them. I’ve tried about every hook on the market for these and the 5/0 Grip pin hooks are by far the best and keep the bait from pulling down. This is the most underrated bait on the market down in Florida in my opinion

I have spent over $200 on the Plano & Flambeau boxes mostly because they deteriorated after a season or two due to UV. The last ones I bought I sprayed with a UV protection clear coat and it helps but it gums up the hinges. Are these UV tolerant?
@Kotaztrafee2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the like of my comment but I have everyone know they still get destroyed by UV or perhaps the plastic they use is crap no matter the UV. 3 years max out of either. Kast King still has to prove itself but what appears to be Acrylic would be better. I have an invention that I 3D print out of ASA plastic and ASA should be the least these manufacturers are using.

I have (2) Brutus spinning reels, A Brutus Baitcasting reel, A Royale Legend II Baitcasting reel and I absolutely love them and you can't beat the price!! I even had (2) Brutus spincast reels and they also work great. I unfortunately didn't maintain them properly so the drag froze up so, I just actually purchased another spincast reel because they are so inexpensive, they are GREAT for the novice fisherman who doesn't have a ton of money to spend, every time they need to replace gear. I have other products as well, like the line spooler, Cutthroat scissors and pliers set, tackle bag, etc., etc. Also have a variety of Kastking Tripolymer line spools from 10lb to 17lb and really do not have one bad thing to say about ANY of their products. I would love to try some of their higher end stuff but, for now, I am extremely happy with their more budget friendly items for sure!! Allows me more time on the bank with my grandson!! Great video!!
