Thank you so much for sharing Juni. I am just over half way, I got a bit delayed. I went through my journal with you and it has really inspired me to finish. Mine will be over two sketch books, the same size as your journal. The thing I really enjoyed was ‘make your mark’ and getting a bit messy, I really loved how it turned out. And creating pages of colour - so good for so many things…🦋

Beautiful and inspirational work Juni ❤ Losing count of how many times I’ve watched this video and the Reflections course posts! My work in progress journal is going well, very enjoyable and therapeutic. Supplies etc gathered, pages torn and glued, gesso currently drying 🙂

My bedroom is my craft room/studio aswell, 3/4 of it is craft, art and jewellery supplies! So I've now slowly but surely started to take over my living room, my excuse is with being disabled I need everything I'm using beside me. I also have to declutter after I make new items or buy new materials. 😂😊

This Little Golden Book was a favorite of mine as a little girl. ❤ I am like you. I prefer my journals to be unembellished. I don’t mind a variety of papers, but I prefer a blank slate. If there are too many embellishments to begin with, the book gets too bulky when I add my own stuff. 😀

Hi JD - just in case anyone is wondering, these beautiful pictures of florals have been taken from a magazine or book on Porcelain (or China) painting. I used to paint on Porcelain in that exact style and was part of the guild for a number of years. There's still many ladies in Australia practising this art form, although it's getting lost and dying due to the time it takes to produce a piece - often requiring many firings in the kiln to get this result. In fact I would guess the artist might have been Patricia Collins (an American artist). I did a course with her back in the late 90s.

@ ah yes, I have that book in my porcelain art book collection. I also have another copy for junk journalling. That book is a classic for Porcelain artists and is usually one of the first you buy when starting China painting.
