im Hiab driver and this safety system is bullshit!!! so difficult to use!!! I did use black remote control so to operate the legs you just put number 2 on the remote control and number 1 is the crane so easy and simple. why do you need so many movements on the remote control?? who did put this shitty system on it probably never ever used HIAB before!!! I did went to TRAVIS PERKINS ONCE f u c k it will never go back !!!

HMF really need to have a video manual on how to set up the crane properly in uphill and downhill roads 🤬😡

This video didn’t help. You should show the person’s fingers moving the 2nd switch to the left whilst operating the levers to get the legs out.

Or use a decent crane , it's called HIAB , it's the most easiest and safest crane out there in my opinion. There's a crane more crap than HMF it's called Atlas and that's even worse lol

Palfinger is the best, the agency sent me to a travis Perkins today with a HMF crane, what a nightmare, luckily there was a quick set up guide hidden behind the passenger seat, without that I would have been screwed today

That's my actual lorry. After filming this, they put all the sensors and cut outs back to normal, so you can't go more than 90 degrees without it cutting out. You have to keep re-setting the legs as you take more stuff off the lorry or it gets slower and slower. Also, 18k? Complete beginners get put through a course and start on 26k.

steve d easily done on the older cranes , some foil over a few limit sensors and it'll go wherever you want.
