Anyone know how to reinstall the pinion shaft lol

Is this a fix for most years? GG seem to have always had starter issues. Have a 2009 450fsr, haven't pulled the starter apart yet but def needs attention.

What you say is very interesting. My 2018 did that, my first 2019 was flawless, my second 2019 worked for 50 hours then the starter burned. I believe all you say, but there is one or two things I simply don't understand. I try to start then hear that clunking noise, followed by silence. If the small pinion turns on the little shaft that drives the bendix and/or the bell of the bendix turns on its shaft we would hear something as the starter would keep spinning. In fact we hear a clunk and sometimes a whining noise but nothing seems to turn or spin.

I have a 4Ah 240A is that enough? Its the 2019 battery of the GasGas. I changend the Cables to thicker ones and added anonther bendix sealing. Did they do anymore changes on the 2019 model?
