I wonder your thoughts on SureDash? I have been looking at this as a front end customer dashboard (it is getting launched tomorrow). I am wondering if it would work with Thrive Themes based site? I know the vertical tabs gives an option for dashboard. I am unclear if it can operate with feeds/discussion, courses etc....like a community. I have been a TTB user all the way since I started building my new sites about 4-5 years ago - Thrive Apprentice lacks a front end customer dashboard. I don't think I have the tech knowledge to build this myself. Is there anything similar possible using TTB? Or is it better to use another plugin to achieve this, like SureDash?

great video as usual. it didn't appear that 4 minutes and 37 seconds that you actually use an external URL. It shows an MP3 file in your media library which is what you advised against at the beginning..... For very good reason. Did I miss something?
@Thrivethemes6 күн бұрын
Good question! Yes... For the sake of recording this video, to speed up my recording process, I simply uploaded an mp3 player to my media library. I needed an audio file in order to be able to show off what the built-in audio player looks like on our templates. Keep in mind, when I record these videos, most times I use dummy sites. But yes, I wouldn't upload an mp3 directly to my site. Good catch! - Tony

Thanks for this, Tony - I'm redesigning my website, and I have a couple of workshops I want to use this method to promote. If you're going to use this process to promote a for-sale webinar (more of an on-demand training, not a free webinar), what would you change to make it work for a paid offering?
@Thrivethemes8 күн бұрын
Hi there Dianne! Thanks for stopping by. I would probably dedicate more sections on the page to re-emphasize the value people are getting, especially since we're now talking about on-demand training. Take the time to clearly communicate that they are receiving $X worth of value but only paying $Y if they take action today. I also have a video where I explain how Ali Abdaal uses value-based pricing to effectively convince his audience that, although he's charging $999 for his course, it feels like a bargain because of all the bonuses and extras he's including for free. Here's the link if you'd like to watch it! kzbin.info/www/bejne/q3nUZoumi6-cpMk - Tony

I am struggling to figure out if I should suggest Wix rather than Wordpress for my client. He sells coaching/therapy packages/services so it has nothing that involves shipping. So accepting payments and maybe setting up recurring payments, sync with his Google Calendar for customers to schedule directly from his site, forms for customers to fill out etc.... He also has a podcast on KZbin so being able to embed his videos is another major thing.

Honestly, I found the quality of these videos these days suffers a lot. I still love Thrive Suite and have been a long time user as well as recommending it a lot. But there are little annoyances that grew over time. For example: her name is Debi not Debbie... Is that super important? NO, but it is an indicator for me, that Thrive these days does not pay attention to those details anymore. The focus - back in Shane's days - was really on a very relaxed and customer centric marketing, where it has become - only my subjective gut feeling - much more flashy these days. I was a Thrive / Shane fanboy and basically blindly purchased more or less everything you put out (and never regretted it, btw) but I feel you move a bit over to the 'clickbaity' side. Don't get me wrong: Still an awesome product, a great company (it seems) and awesome tools. Just make sure, you do not loose your true fans.
@Thrivethemes16 күн бұрын
Hey Philipp! It's been a while, I hope you're doing okay. First off, thank you for pointing out the spelling mistake with Debi's name in the description box-that’s been fixed now. I appreciate you catching that! I totally get where you're coming from about the tone and feel of our videos. We're working hard on our products and content, and while we aim to keep evolving, we also want to stay authentic to what we believe marketing should be-customer-centric and focused on delivering value. It’s really important to us that we don’t lose sight of those roots. I want you to know we’re listening, and your feedback is super helpful in reminding us to keep that balance between being innovative and staying true to what made Thrive special in the first place. I'm definitely passing this on to the team, and we’ll keep striving to make sure we don’t lose touch with our core community. Here if you need anything - Tony

Thanks, Tony. Good info. ... Do I need to create a unique Thrive Apprentice API Key for every ThriveCart product I create? I ask because recently I tried to integrate Thrive Apprentice with my ThriveCart account using a Thrive Apprentice API Key, but was unable to do it. I was told by ThriveCart that I needed a published Thrive Apprentice course first. As it turned out, that was only partially true. Actually, I also needed an active Thrive Apprentice product to which that published course was attached. Only after I created a Thrive Apprentice product (using the info from this video, by the way) and attached it to my published course in Thrive Apprentice was I able to create the integration on ThriveCart using my Thrive Apprentice API Key. But now I'm wondering: If I create another ThriveCart product, do I also need to generate another Thrive Apprentice API Key?

Hi Dirk! One API key to connect your site to your Thrivecart account should be enough, no need to have multiple of them. Thanks for asking! - Tony

Hello, is it possible to generate a customized results page? For example, in a diet quiz, if the lead provided their current weight as "90," their ideal weight as "80," and selected a "60-day" timeline, could a results page be created with a chart displaying this data?
@Thrivethemes24 күн бұрын
Hi Rafael - with Thrive Quiz Builder, you can create dynamic results pages, though they are somewhat broader than what you’re describing. In the video, you’ll see that depending on the answers selected, all responses are weighted to place users into a single category. You can then customize what each category sees on the results page. - Tony

So, for this to work as a customer dashboard, the content in each tab would have to be associated with the logged in customer; meaning that what shows up in the tabs would reflect the customer status, such as what he/she purchased, membership level, etc.?

My membership site is connected to surecart , which uses their customer dashboard- I don’t think I can change either. I do live the vertical tab option! Also, are there not issues with passing personal information through the URL field, like email and phone number?
