How much you love yourself depends on how happy you are and how peaceful you are and that is achieved by how much healthy food do you consume or how little(or none) you consume unhealthy food and how much negativity is not present in your life(negative people and negative sound, pictures and videos), but mostly depends on how much do you take care of health and hygiene. Trying is not doing, is it not?

I can see your point. And I agree-everything is connected. If you love yourself, you will take better care of your health and respect yourself enough to make hard choices about how you spend your time and what relationships you surround yourself with. But loving yourself 24/7 at 100% is nearly impossible (I would even argue impossible). The point I'm trying to make here is that "trying to love yourself" is a way to love yourself. But you make an interesting point, thank you for the comment!

@@ZwenMatthews because colleagues are NOT your friends. Remember that, because until the shit hits the fan, you probably wouldn't believe me. It just comes with experience. Maybe, if you are very lucky, you'd be able to have an actual friend at work, but tell yourself first - do you really want to have anything with this person, or is it just "being nice"?

@@Fireok73 Interesting. Well, from my experience, I got quite close with one of my colleagues back then. We shared a great bond both at work and in our spare time. But I can see how that doesn't happen in most cases. I just know work would be a lot less fun without that friend. You got any experience trying to be closer than colleagues with someone?

@ well, the thing is if your friend was the same age as you, then yea. It makes sense because you’ll probably have much more in common. But it negates if he’d be married and had a kid. People just don’t really have time to make friends with that much responsibility on them. Their priorities would differ from yours. So that’s the main issue for adults. Different thing is when there’s a big age gap between colleagues, there won’t be anything except sharing experience and skills. Just be nice enough to each other without being “too nice” and keep the working environment feeling non hostile

No one knows how to get there. Pick a “job” that includes doing things that you are passionate about and that will take you closer to your goal. If you want the dream/goal enough you will figure it out.
