Why are you still using the old CPR 2005 Guidelines? ABC procedure has been changed. Your CPR training is obsolete. 2010 CPR guidelines had dropped the "look, listen and feel portion and has recommended C-A-B procedure to avoid waste of time. International CPR training should be taught with AED, and also emphasizing PPE use. Please upgrade your training. Next year AHA CPR 2015 guidelines will be released. Stella Lago Basic training is mandatory to all seafarers under IMO rule of standards where EFA is one of the modules.The trainee has to undergo practical assessment for their competency, the old standard of CPR is still in used because the IMO has not yet adopt the new guidelines.

Maam Stella Lago... yes you are definitely correct.. they are using the what you called OBSOLETE one... maam, If I may ask? Did you apply the updated one? did you save a patient already? though you may be "updated" but you really do not UNDERSTAND our STCW both provision and code.. all you know is what your american idol updated and still you remain a PESO earner... but we?? We are seafarers, We earned dollar though you called this training as an OBSOLETE.... so my advice stick with your updated one and continue to dream on how to earn dollar while we like you we also dream but not to earn more dollar but on how how to spend our dollar.... ma tanung ko maam? 75 ba board rating mo??? kawawa ka naman...

Hello, are you a filipino? If not it's alright, I took this course last Feb. 2013 and i only spend Three Thousand Six Hundred Pesos, for 1 week training. They don't offer accommodation inside the school but there is some boarding house near the school but it will depends on you if you're picky type of person. If you want to stay a better accommodation you can go to metropolis and rent some apartment,hotels or pension house. If you want to stay in boarding houses near the school you can spend only more or less two thousand pesos. If you staying in apartments, , hotels, pension houses more or less around three thousand to six thousand pesos. Since i am cebuano and i know this place and i am also part time real estate agent. Just let me know if you planning to take this course..I can help you and guide you..all the best
