Mark Hamill is such an amazing actor. And a really cool person too.

Before, I said the Joker shouldn't be a hitman in the show, as that means he shouldn't go to Arkham as he's still a bad person, so rehabilitation doesn't matter. However, I think realistically, he should be treated as a different entity altogether after experiencing madness, so I think it's fine that he was a hitman before. Keep in mind as well, I was talking as if he's a hitman who deserves a life sentence, as he's presumably murdered a lot of people. I think this train of logic should be explained in the show though.

The most important characters that come to mind whenever I think of this franchise, are obviously Batman, Joker, and then Two-Face. Why Two-Face? Because of both sides. Batman for his sense of Justice, like Harvey. And Joker, for the complete lack of morals(unless it comes to Nazis). These three are the pinnacles of Gotham. Two-Face because he’s a reflection of Gotham, a two faced society who can turn out this bad at the drop of a coin. Joker for showing the complete ineptitude of the police and the judicial system, and Batman stepping up to put a stop to such issues with these super-villains. There’s a shred of themselves in them. There’s a little bit of Jack left in Joker, a little bit of Bruce in Batman. And of course, Two-Face will never, be rid of Harv.

They need to bring back the actual Joker with the raspy laugh and clever retorts

The way Mark Hamill goes about voicing characters is genius. His role as the Joker was amazing and one of my favourite roles of his was SkekTek the Scientist in the Dark Crystal. He does a good job at portraying a sickly old psychopath with a chip on his shoulder with other people.

Possibly the best villain voice actor of all-time (though Mel Blanc is widely regarded as the best VA ever, both in terms of influence and skill set). Been voicing Joker, arguably the most iconic villain in history, for 30+ years across a variety of media. Voiced Ozai in arguably the best animated series of all-time. And his talent is highlighted even further by his iconic live-action portrayal of Luke Skywalker, one of the most iconic heroes in fiction, too. Not just limited to voice acting.
