I have a sickness for Hydrangeas. Strawberry Sundae and Pop Star are my favorite this season. Yours are amazing
@cymunsworld6256Ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. I love the blooms of strawberry sundaes, but they are taller and wider than what they are supposed to be. I have a small garden and they are taking over. The stems are not strong so I had to stake them all. I didn't even put chicken manure this year. Are your strawberry sundaes not flopping? I'm planning to dig them up this fall and put them in pots and replace them with little lime punch. I noticed that my 2 little lime punches remained strong and sturdy after 2 weeks of rain.

Hello, it’s okay that you don’t think it’s a perfect time to film, we all feel that way. Your garden is beautiful. You have done a great job. Thank you for sharing. I too obsessed over hydrangeas and have 65 in my garden. I agree the little lime punch is awesome. In my zone 8a Upstate South Carolina, first year planted it turned into that punch color which I am thrilled. I plan to add more.

Why do you have an American jack dempsey cichlid in with mbuna African cichlids, it should not be in your tank, because African cichlids need a ph on 8.o, while the jack dempsey needs a ph of 6.8 which is acidic.

I water change it once a week taking 30% of the water out , i do it every sunday ( includes vacuuming the gravel, scrubbing the glass) that's about it. I clean the filters every month. I have 2 aquaclear 70 in this tank and this is 55 gallons aquarium. I don't use any chemicals. I have well water so I don't need to add anything.

Your garden is really beautiful, I’m confused as to the reason you would prune your hydrangea in June does that help them from flopping ? If so please do a video at the time of pruning ! Also your limelight bouquets how you stake and support them . 💐🥰
@cymunsworld625611 ай бұрын
Thank you. The reasons I will prune the hydrangeas twice are: first is to delay the Blooming time so I can get better color in fall, second is to make the stems more sturdy and not leggy. I've done it this year with my limelight standard and it worked. The branches are shorter. As for the bouquet limelight I have a previous video on training it to grow that way. Thank you for stopping by.

I've never seen hydrangea staked up like yours. Why do they need so much help?
@cymunsworld625611 ай бұрын
Are you talking about the limelight? Well, I trained them to be like that. I don't have a big space for them. And for the strawberry sundae they are just so healthy that they need staking. Next year though I will trim them back in last week of june and probably I won't put chicken manure on them... just mulch ...
