Jeepers pal, 'hunting' off the bakkie with a bipod is lame. At least we have some new hunters with enthusiasm. Hopefully you can take them on a proper hunt next time, not live target shooting.

Bobby I hear you. However the Blesbuck I shot in the video (the headshot) was an animal I finished after it was wounded earlier in the day by a hunter who walked and stalked. The animal suffered for a long period because the hunter who was on foot couldn't keep up with the animal. We, who went out later with a vehicle could easily find the animal and I could put a stop to its suffering. With that being said on this hunt I took out two new hunters for their first hunt. So what is the most ethical way for them to take their first animals? Taking an easier shot from a bakkie with a stable gun to ensure the animals are killed quickly and humanly or making it more difficult for new hunters who may potentially wound animals causing them prolonged pain? Using your words I would rather say wounding animals are lame.

Honestly, yes it does make me happy. The reason being that this is our meat for the year. We don't just kill animals for fun. Every piece of the animal gets used. The parts we as humans do not eat goes to the lions. People are very uneducated when it comes to hunting. These animals were truly living free in the wild, right up to the end when they were shot. Most people have no issue with eating meat. However the meat they eat come from abattoirs. Animals that gets slaughtered at abattoirs are not free range at all, particularly during the last few days being transported while still being alive. So overall hunting is a more ethical way of harvesting meat. I hope this helps you to understand. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions.

You won't be disappointed. It's an awesome hunting scope. Mine took its first 2 animals last year. This year June it's going on its 2nd hunt. I'm very impressed with this scope, especially in its price range.

All those decades to save the bontebok from the brink of extinction to have stupid people hunt them from the back of a vehicle because they are too lazy to walk and really hunt or do fair chase and have their vehicles drive off road over endangered habitat. Revolting!

Please go and educate yourself, before making uneducated and absurd statements. Hunting played a huge role in helping to bring the Bontebok back from extinction. Without hunters hunting them and therefore creating a demand for the animals farmers will have no financial motivation to keep and breed these animals on their farms. According to you I'm too lazy to walk. The truth is that you are too lazy to read. Trust me just a quick Google search in the future can spare you a lot of embarrassment.
