The Trojan War has inspired countless works of art and literature throughout history. From ancient Greek tragedies to Shakespeare's "Troilus and Cressida" to modern films like "Troy," the story continues to capture imaginations.

The Trojan Horse, a legendary Greek ploy to infiltrate Troy, is a cornerstone of the story. However, there's no concrete archaeological evidence to support its existence. Was it a clever literary invention, or a real tactic used in warfare during that era?

While most stories depict the Greeks winning with the Trojan Horse, there are variations. One suggests the Greeks used a tunnel to sneak into the city. Another claims they built a massive wooden bull, not a horse, to gain entry.

Was the Trojan War real? There has been much debate over historical evidence of the Trojan War. Archaeological finds in Turkey suggest that the city of Troy did exist but that a conflict on the immense scale of a 10-year siege may not have actually occurred.

Turks are mongoloid race, geneticaly different then caucasian men. If someone speaks form of turkish language this means nothing. Hungarians are not with 1-2% turkish genes Turks. Or turkish economic refuges in a second generation in Europe are not Europeans. They are speaking local language but are not Germans, Brits or French. They live in a multicultural society. If the language of state administration was Turkish, then Caucasoids had to learn it, but they were and still are not Turks.

The Hagia Sophia, a magnificent structure in Istanbul, was originally built as a Christian church during the Byzantine Empire. After the Ottoman conquest, it was converted into a mosque and remains a stunning example of both religious traditions.

The Turkic people were renowned for their exceptional horseback riding and archery skills. Their composite bows were powerful weapons, feared by their enemies. Traditionally, many Turkic nomadic groups lived in Yurts - portable, circular dwellings perfect for their mobile lifestyle. These ingenious structures provided shelter and could be easily dismantled and transported.

The term "Turk" originates from the Old Turkic word "Türük", meaning "strong" or "brave", and refers to the Turkic peoples of Central Asia and Siberia known for their martial prowess. Over time, it became associated with various groups speaking Turkic languages, including the Seljuks and Ottomans, who played significant roles in history. Today, "Turk" primarily denotes the people of Turkey, a country with a predominantly Turkic population situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.

His descendants expanded the empire even further, advancing to such far-off places as Poland, Vietnam, Syria and Korea. At their peak, the Mongols controlled between 11 and 12 million contiguous square miles, an area about the size of Africa.

Had Sry Lanka for more than 100 years, plus Malaca, Ormuz ... one of the most spoken languages in the world and all this has been done by one by of the smallest and less populated countries in Europe. Amazing.

The Abbasids' age of cultural revival and fruition ended in 1258 with the sack of Baghdad by the Mongols under Hulagu Khan and the execution of al-Musta'sim. The Abbasid line of rulers, and Muslim culture in general, re-centred themselves in the Mamluk capital of Cairo in 1261.

During the Yuan dynasty, China-for the first time in its long history-was completely subjugated by foreign conquerors and became part of a larger political entity, the vast Mongol empire. Ironically, during this century of alien occupation, Chinese culture not only survived but was reinvigorated.

In 1913, 412 million people lived under the control of the British Empire, 23 percent of the world's population at that time. It remains the largest empire in human history and at the peak of its power in 1920, it covered an astonishing 13.71 million square miles - that's close to a quarter of the world's land area.

While details are scarce, some accounts suggest Tariq wasn't born of nobility. He might have even been a Berber who rose through the ranks of the Muslim army due to his exceptional military skills.

The Battle of Tours (732 AD) is often seen as a pivotal moment, but the Muslim presence in Europe continued for centuries. It wasn't until the late Middle Ages (1492 AD) that Christian kingdoms like Castile and Aragon finally finished the Muslim rule in Iberia.

It is said that if the Muslims had defeated Charles Martel at the Battle of Tours, they would have seized control of Francia. There is every chance they would have united Europe under the flag of Islam, instead of the Holy Roman Empire which developed on the continent instead.

The battle was significant as the culmination of a series of Berber attacks and the beginning of the Umayyad conquest of Hispania. Visigothic King Roderic was killed in the battle, along with many members of the Visigothic nobility, opening the way for the capture of the capital of Toledo.
