@@daliaslittleworld2174 If it was purchased in 1967, it was "Used"... Not new !!! This machine was made between 1961 and 1963.. My grandmother bought me a # 500 in 1961 for $ 359.00, and the # 503 cost $ 299.00.. So yes, you are not giving the "accurate information"..

I think you have a good one. The missing lid, and pin arent really needed at all. Getting a modern foot controller probably best thing to have next to the 0 and certain of the other disk.

Where in Mississippi was this? This is Megatibicen resh, and it is extremely rare in Mississippi. This may be one of the easternmost records of this species. Just a city or county would do.

Leflore County, MS. Thank you for sharing the info - it is very interesting.

@@daliaslittleworld2174 There is one paper from 2013 that shows a population of this species in Leflore County, but no one has seen any there since that paper was published, over a decade ago.

They are very gentle creatures & do not have the ability to bite nor sting. But if you want to look at one up close it’s best to wear some yard gloves so that they don’t get their razor sharp hooks in your skin literally. They have a claw on each of their feet, that will hook into your skin much like cat claws do. Their claws can tear your skin which is painful despite their small size. They will only tear your skin if you try to pull them off of your skin, so it is best to take a stick or some other rough textured object that they can cling to and put it in front of them while someone coaxes them to crawl onto the object and turn loose of your skin.

How long to distill water?
@daliaslittleworld217411 ай бұрын
I haven't tried it yet... sorry
@GrayDoingStuff9 ай бұрын
All alcohols are different and need different temperatures. It’s the vapor temp that’s important
@daliaslittleworld21748 ай бұрын
true. It also probably depends on the amount of liquid distilled
@maughan695711 ай бұрын
Small still , small cuts. They are easy to upgrade the thumper size and the condenser size. Good still for appt distilling and beginning.
@daliaslittleworld217411 ай бұрын
True. For beginners. Still I find it so useful, and didn't want to spend a lot of money, before learning the process.
