i am disabled as i broke my back at work, i looked into buying a liqid cooled so i could have heat in the cab, well they are not really cabs, this was in 2004, just the unit no tracks no cab thing for the big foot was $10,000 cnd, i waited for my law suit to be settled, it took 5 years yet, but the time i got my settlement it had gone from $10,000 to over $30,000 just for the bare unit, i still needed the windshield, cab, winch heater, tracks, spindle exstention, now we are at over $50,000 cnd that the huge change argo did, i was forced to hang up my guns and fishing gear, as i couldn't see putting that much out on something that was a 1/3rd of the price just 4 years before, and the funds i got has to last me the rest of my life. so my love of hunting and fishing ended, i cant walk on uneven ground, i cant take our very cold weather, so i was forced to give it all up, thanks argo

Arnold Romppai Hi. I am a huge Argo fan and started riding them as a kid in the 70’s. I am sorry to hear about your injury, I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. You should take a look at some used ones with low hours,,, I am about to buy a 2016 in excellent shape for 15,000,, it only has 200 hours and it is the 750HDI fuel injected 31 HP Kohler It has lots of options. I have seen units with ALL the options, cabs, heaters, winches, tracks, motor mounts, windshields roll over protection and more for 19,000 Canadian. This is out of my price range but still way cheaper. Hope you are doing ok and can get out in the woods one way or another.

IN OTHER WORDS... WHO BENEFITS? CORPORATIONS WITH DEEP POCKETBOOKS... MAKE THEM ACCESSIBLE TO THE EVERYDAY BUYER LIKE SNOW MACHINES. 50% IS PLASTIC!

Mine got stuck in flooded Marsh grass. It wouldn't push thru it. I get the damn thing stuck every where, and had to replace all the bearings after only 200 hour's use. Expensive POS!!!

Oh look, a deep river, game over. They're not really for the same applications... like comparing apple and oranges. Argos are meant to carry more people, more cargo, and be able to cross basically any terrain. ATVs are mostly made to carry one, maybe two people, and are for fun, not work, usually.

atv are usless, people just up set everyone in the bush by going 80mph, no good for pulling a moose out of cut overs, swomp, they just cant go, oh and snow, they sit, they dont go though 4 feet of snow, oh wait they dont go in 6" of snow, like todays snowmobiles, they are made o traval on packed trail and do 100mph, sorry but id rather ride in my truck
