Some people think these should have a diesel engine. It is a 6,600 Lbs vehicle. It would need a 6 cylinder turbo diesel at the least to move it. Even the 4BBL isn't strong enough for this van. The 3.7L Duratec V6 is the right balance. 275hp and 260 Lbs. ft. of torque. It gets 17 MPG city and 24 MPG highway. That is incredible for a 6,600 Lbs vehicle. The fuel savings you'd get from a diesel would only be around $500 for every 6,000 miles. The cost of a diesel engine option does not justify the fuel savings in the lifetime of the vehicle. Diesel engines are insanely expensive. And very expensive for parts and labor. I am a mechanic. This is my specialty.

It is a sweet vehicle. The two most reliable engines I have ever worked with in my mechanical career/life. The modular V8 4.6L or the Porsche engineered Duratec 3.7L V6 (given to Ford from Porsche).

It was prob BAF who is now Westport Fuel systems. I’m sure you don’t need info any longer but hopefully it helps the next guy. I’m not sure why this never took off in the states? I’m sure it’s political lol. Only a couple small changes need to be made to the engine for optimal performance and wear on the valves.

inferior locks been through a bunch easy fix just redesign pen springs used inside use heavier duty spring and lock will last these locks are not built for contractors but for homeowners

Weather Guard is what I have. It's beautiful equipment. It's bright and it makes it so you actually have more light because it's white. protech boxes leak like an old lady in a depends...your tool will be rusted and ruined in no time.....all mine have sucked and their polishing doesnt match whats in this video
