Lets be honest.. it's still not a finished game and the devs is just lazy.. It's in beta state but they announced it as v1.0 so they can sell it at full price.. Dont get me wrong, I bought the game since release, played it since alpha 7, stop playing at alpha 17.. but I barely see the difference between alpha state and finished state of the game, still lots of missing features that they promised.. And dont forget the lack of optimization for pc.. I'll just called it Beta 1.0 for now..

It seems like I am the only one who does NOT like the fact that they are trying to "slow" down the game progression. I already hate the grinding aspect and it is sounding like TFP is deliberately making it worse. I am also not really a fan of them limiting the traders to a single biome. I have about 1000 hours playing this game. My playstyle is to get up to Tier 6 missions fast, then start a new game. Lately, because I am just done with the grindy nature, I have resorted to mods and creative mode to simply remove the grind of some stuff. If it were not for the "cheating" am able to do, I would not play this anymore.

For console, let me get this straight 1) Pay another $45usd 2) no 3rd person view, so all this customization means nothing 3) the big one, no server support. Big solo experience cause hosting a game isnt the same as being on a dedicated server. Is it even going to be 60fps on the newer consoles?

Sure, I'd quite enjoy seeing more of this series. If you begin another I'd watch that too. On the 'restore power'. Looks, to me, that you just read a sign, not a cue from an algorithm. I guess the game assumes if you got to that top part of the ship you would have had to pass through an area where you would have seen some kind of control switch to actually turn on the power.
