Aside from the persistence of the disco vibe, this is still an enormously soulful and hopeful composition ! Many thanks for this unique duo & the extended length

Anyone knows of another edit / remix of this song a little punchier ? Demuja played one last week-end in Paris but I can't find it anywhere ...

To all the producers and dj’s who made the tracks that made that sublime sound that made the hairs raise on the back of my neck thank you wouldn’t have missed it for the world..

1988 was second or third generation house music. It had become mainstream by this stage. They should had paid attention to the business. Even Trax was being bootlegged and repressed illegally. The skullduggery worked both ways. There were Chicago artists taking deposits for UK bookings who just pocketed the money and did not show up.

I used to listen to Jazzy M (based in West Croydon) on LWR. He also had Chicago djs broadcasting live from Chicago via a telephone link live over London. It was late 85 or very early 86. His Chicago contact was a guy called Rob Olson who also released a compilation album. At the time many of these tracks were pre-release and unavailable anywhere.

I think this is a great documentary. But you left out one of the main factors of Chicago House Music. That's how good of a DJ Farley JackMaster Funk, and the Hot Mix 5 DJ's were. They really promoted the idea that you could be a DJ and produce and mix other DJ/Producers records on the radio. They really promoted House Music. Because the people that didn't live in Chicago that would visit Chicago. Their first experience to House Music was the Radio. Just my observation. All love ❤️ And, "Gotta Have House, Music".
