It looks like u are running low wing but you can take the fast corners perfectly but how?

@@apol4 Yep low wing, you need to run a low rear height to remain stable.

@@apol4 Front always fully low, rear should be around 3-5mm higher. When you accelerate the rear will go down anyway.

@@apol4For me Spa is best with a low front arb, but it makes the front end feel sluggish. For AMG I think 3 or 4 is good. For the rear it generally depends on how much you can handle and on the springs overall.

I found that car quite tricky to drive when I tried it months ago, I can see you had to countersteer a lot with that car which I can understand why. Impressive lap time!

@@abrownie10 Hey man, I find the Cayman GT4 to be very stable overall and out of slow corners you can pretty much drive it with full throttle. However, it does like to step out a bit on lift off, so you need to be a bit aware of the rotation.

It’s possible. Author has 5k+ hours on AC, so don’t worry, your gear is good for the beginning and even for beginning-advanced level)

@@m.sspeckyy7494 Yes, the impact of "good" equipment does exist, but after all it is all about you getting familiar with the equipment that will make you quick. I have tried many wheels, pedals etc., but I could drive fast with any of them. If you are on the highest level it can be the deciding factor to find the last bit of time. I think the biggest improvement of good gear is that everything just feels more refined and believeable.

It is not a beginners car, so do not worry, if you are off pace. Take something less difficult to make faster progress. :)

@@mlondipraiseworth3223 Either by going directly from 5 to 3 or you can also change from 5-4-3 really fast. The brakes in the MX5 are so good that often you can skip a gear under braking, but you need to be careful not to harm the engine.

So if you do not lower the ambient temperature in the game you will go slower no matter how well you execute a turn. Also the sunlight in the game will change temperatures as well so something to be aware of. Anywho I started a hotlap session and Set ambient temperature to 10 degrees like GoodGame.eXistenZ recommended. I used the Light Clouds setting and Tyre Blankets on. Instantly got the 149~150 crossing the finish line. I was stuck at 147 before so your on par if your hitting 147. It's just a settings issue. Be aware that running cold temps will probably make running more than 1 lap not possible because the tyres are going to get cold. I have not played with the sunlight and temp settings much to see what a good sweet spot is for doing more than one lap. For practice I don't usually worry about time and just set the temp to whatever makes the tyres happy and adjust the ghost car advantage to something fun for chasing.
