Hi Cummins Family. Ours want to di the same thing but my daughter is deathly afraid of driving in mountains containing sheer drops. If she looks out and can see a guardrail and a drop she panics. How was the drive? Lots of hairoin turns and drops?

As many of you are aware, early yesterday morning, July 19th, the Cummins family set out once again on an epic adventure. By epic adventure I mean what some of you would call a “family vacation”. Now, when our family goes on a vacation, it is not the stereotypical kind of vacation that is mentioned in brochures or travel pamphlets. Not that these are bad, but in retrospect they may appear slightly mundane to us when we compare them to what is a typical Cummins family vacation. This particular trip for us can be split into three separate legs or phases. First we will be attending the Rhodes Family Reunion at the Bonita Park Nazarene Camp Ground in Ruidoso, New Mexico from July 19-21; then when we be traveling up to Juneau, Alaska to visit family. Along the way we will be stopping to visit more family and friends. We arrive in Juneau on August 2nd and will remain there until August 14th, which is the second part of our trip. The third phase begins when we leave Juneau and will include our travel home to Duncanville, Texas arriving on August 21st, after dropping Cora off to go to school at Southern Nazarene University, in Bethany, Oklahoma. Along the way our family is planning on posting photos on Instagram and Facebook as well as video blogs on KZbin. If you are interested in keeping in touch with us, these are some great ways!
