Is there a non profit organisation that provides jobs for Physical therapists?
@user-fw8ee4qp9m20 күн бұрын
In 2002-2003 I had primary specialisation in Neurology. And one if my colleagues, Yuri Gavrilov, recommended me to Sergey Dzhumayev. Sergey Dzhumayev was a specialist with the high education in sports. The name of his specialty was "instructor-methodologist of curative physical culture" (don't ask me why it sounds so complicated) and had a profound experience in home-rehab from 90s. He also was on of those who in 80s rehabilitated men (with SCI, TBI, after amputations) who took part in war in Afganistan... Dzhumayev was not a DOCTOR but he was the key person, Root Teacher (I use tibetan buddhism terminology here) who showed us the true POWER of physical therapy! Dzhumayev established a rehab-team for the Medical Center "XXI Century". I and some other doctors (general practitioners, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists) were part of his team that time (2000 - 2009). Sergey Dzhumayev turned 65 this year, he is impressively active professionally and created a lot of rehab-teams for different rehab-centers.

I remember these crazy times...2004 - 2010. In state hospitals (in St. Petersburg - second big city of Russia after Moscow) we could see people after stroke, SCI, TBI; people with Parkinsons, multiple sclerosis and other severe neurological conditions having ALL possible complicatios because of absence of PHYSICAL MANAGEMENT and proper PHYSICAL THERAPY. Lowest level of care and physiotherapy. Terrible ignorance! Contractures, pressure sores, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, (aspirational) pneumonias, cystitis, pyelonephritis... Health care system looked like (consciously?) created to eliminate old people with comorbidities not to pay them pensions and not to be responsible for this "socially useless thrash"... Social eugenics, russian version.

So is doing isometrics or slow heavy resistance without compression essentially using a resistance band, in most cases? I'm assuming that without compression means without the weight of the body on the tendon

I don't know the context of this piece, but over here in America we are experiencing a level of corruption and internal dissonance that is mind boggling. And much of our people is uneducated or wrongly educated, with very little historical and civic knowledge. The USA made over 2 trillion dollars in exports in the year 2022 alone. How is Russia making nearly 3 trillion off oil/gas in 20 years anything excessive or "enough"? Much of America doesn't have central sewage as well...I am a DPT living in a blue state with a septic tank as are my neighbors for miles. I don't understand what this is trying to prove...
@PTProTalk24 күн бұрын
@@tooxtreme55 if you watch the whole episode I believe would understand better what Yury is trying to say. PTs salaries range from $500 to $900 a month. He is trying to show the impact of corruption in people’s lives and their ability to make a living for themselves. At least that is what I understood. Very different from the reality in the US where even with corruption people can work and live decent lives.

Great video 👏 your content is valuable and it's clear you put lot of effort to make videos like this . However I notice that your thumbnail may not be fully capturing attention they deserve . As a professional thumbnail designer, I work with channels like Dr. Tanvi Mayur Patel (361k), Dr. Sahaj Joshi (215k), and Healthy Forever (77k). With optimized thumbnails, I believe your videos could reach a broader audience. I'd love to assist in enhancing your channel’s visual presence. Looking forward to your response ☺️

I’m sorry but this is nonsense. Lots of sophisticated language no actual content. Glorified massage therapist mobilising upper cervical joints selling something. C2-3 is s symptom of weak paraspinal extensors especially(lower), rotatores and flexors. Strengthen these deep muscles back to full function and the SCM, scalenes etc and other outer muscles will relax. You can often see this fatty atrophy in MRI scans in chronic patients. “It keeps coming back That’s the reality of life”, this guy is a charlatan and a fraud

The problem with the physiotherapy profession is that you have so many concepts that all claim that they have “figured it all out” - MSI is just one example. Then you have science that says that everything is bs and everything or nothing works. It’s becoming more and more idiotic

That would assume that the body is not adaptable. I think this is a very pessimistic view of the body. It also excludes the bio-psychosocial model for pain. It also shows that certain interventions do not necessarily have to change the kinematics to help with pain

You can improve your reach by focusing collectively on thumbnails, specially in your niche improving SEO would be a deal breaker and ofc the video editing. and that's where I'm expert at..
