Is Jessica Luke Lalonde's sister or girlfriend? Because in the song Sole Brother there's a lyric "Jessica, I love you but I wish I was a sole brother" Is that referring to he wants to be an only child or he wants a break up? WHO IS JESSICA?

HAA!! I just fell down a rabbit hole of old Ruffians/Luke videos and I saw this comment and feel like responding even though it's four years late: I'm his sister! This isn't a song about me (probably just liked combo of vowels and syllables for this one) , but Sole Brother is a playful semi-biographical song that does reference me from the perspective of a grumpy little boy who's mad at his older sister cuz she gets out of all the chores :)

no i agree with you. i just wanted people to know that it was luke lalonde from born ruffians, in case people didnt know his name, but knew the band.

lovely song!, but i think that you shouldn't put "(born ruffians)" cause it's a solo project from Luke, the lead singer of born ruffians.. my opinion of course anyway, thank you for this and i didn't mean to offend you! :)
