😊I think a microphone that enhances the voice is essential. Goid to know Myles Kennedy has a signature microphone. I would like to try it .😮

Myles’ journey has both been lucky as he put it, but also unlucky at the same time. His talent and the musical output of his bands - particularly AlterBridge - is right up there amongst the best in hard rock/metal music history IMO. Unfortunately, when they started together, the heavy music industry basically was imploding and no longer on the mainstream radar, nor was it pushed by radio or music companies…. Pre-existing popular legacy rock bands continued to get airplay (Metallica, Foo Fighters, Disturbed etc etc) and pushed into the public consciousness…. But - the average person hasn’t even heard of AlterBridge because they don’t get the push in North America despite a great great catalog of albums and songs (they know Metalingus - but not as AB or its name - only as Edge’s WWE kickass intro theme). AB has many many better songs than Metalingus; but hardly anyone knows it in North America- because its pop stars, rap, hip hop and legacy rock bands that get the media attention… Despite this, Myles and Alterbridge persevered because of their talent and songwriting abilities…- And Europe has embraced them as headliners! 💪😎

I have so much respect for Eric. I was fortunate enough to meet him and I asked all these questions and he was so generous with his time and was sooooo down to earth. I'm sure he'd been asked the same questions over and over and yet made enough time to answer them all. Such a wonderful human being. He was playing with Alice at the time and I was bugging him about badlands and KISS lol

@marka93573 жыл бұрын
I saw Myles live in our little 3000 seat arena in Tauranga NZ with Slash and the Conspirators. It was the first show of their Australasian leg and it was awesome to see them in a compact venue. And that voice, oh the voice. So cool.

Why can you guys just answer the questions you're talking about nonsense you answer you go to answer a question and you go off and talk about other stuff
@WrongEndoftheSnake3 жыл бұрын
Because it's an organic conversation. This is not an interview - it's a conversation. If you don't like it.... Don't watch. If you want question and answer - start your own show.

Myles, I do not think you know how well liked and loved you are; your fans adore you! Keep up the good work. We will see you on LIVE stage again, hopefully, soon!

I met Myles at the 2019 Alter Bridge tour and he was amazing, i waited til the end so i could meet him and i had to tell him "he is the guy". He helped me find my singing voice by inspiring me through his music and turns out it took 30 odd years to find out i have a 5 octave range and a voice quite similar to Myles's (i didnt know i could sing at all as i was a very heavy smoker), so to meet him was the best expeirence of my life. I have had a lesson with Ron Anderson (after seeing Myles mention it on another interview) and he is amazing, such a lovely person but pricey lol. Anyone who cant afford £400 an hour and is interested in checking it out the VR course should go here voixtek.com/home. There is a non VR version which lets you track your pitch with a microphone and i use this daily, in three months the results are already fantastic, but as Myles told me, you have to practise everyday! I am off to read Effortless Mastery again, take care in these scary times all! See you on stage when this all blows over :P
