Back in the day (I'm 70 years old )the LGA-BOS was one of my favorite routes to fly. Back then I use fly on the Eastern Airlines " shuttle " which had hourly flight hourly. I paid $19 bucks, due to the fact I was student.They also flew the Lockheed Constellation, before acquiring the Douglas DC-8.Since it was so inexpensive to fly I would fly down to the " village in NY" to see concerts at the Fillmore East. The tickets were only $5.50 US a ticket. There was one bad experience which I still remember to this day. The concert ended prematurely (back then groups like The Allman Bro. Band, Led Zep and the Airplane would play all night ) so in the middle of a cold snowy night, I ended up heading back to LGA to catch NATIONAL AIRLINES flight back to Bos.via a Lockheed Elektra❤
