@BornTheBuilder14 күн бұрын
In this day and age where artificial intelligence is readily available to everyone, proof reading jobs/businesses can easily be replaced. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are providing it to people who don't know how to use proof reading tools. Even if you do, the number of customers is really small and not viable in my opinion. It sounds like you might be interested in how to make money online. I think I'll do a video on that. Make sure to subscribe and hit the bell icon if you haven't already.

@@lovellifeandlaughter there are companies offering such but it's easier if it's a friend/acquaintance running such a business and looking to increase their fleet. How much you would get paid depends on your own negotiations and agreement. Generally, I would encourage you to run the business yourself so that you are in control instead of letting someone else use your vehicle. Just try it out. The only passive income you can get is from income streams like interest from lending out money. For things like this you have to put in effort and attention to make money.

@BornTheBuilderАй бұрын
Thanks for watching. Have you ever tried any of the methods mentioned?
@chewechishala3622Ай бұрын
1. They failed to adapt to competitors 2. The drivers opted to register with Yango because the process was easier and faster 3. The drivers were getting bonuses and started turning off the Ulendo Apps to maximise their bonuses 4.Clients and drivers asked them to reconsider their model but they failed to adapt 5. At some point getting an Ulendo could take like 20minutes ,whereas Yango took and average of 5 minutes...waiting time is a critical factor in transport
@BornTheBuilderАй бұрын
1. I think they tried to adapt and probably tried some methods to counteract but it failed. Imagine listening to so many opinions from people on what to do. You know, everyone is an expert at giving opinions. I would like to think that they tried their best. I hope so. 2. The thing of having just anyone register on Yango bothered me a lot. Ulendo was safe because of the vetting process. Any car could get on Yango even cars that were ready for the demolition yard. imagine competing for jobs with such people. 3. I agree. That was one of the problems we faced in our business. switching apps and abandoning Ulendo. Anyway, it is what it is. 4. This goes back to the thing of changing your model. If it were me changing the model would feel like playing into the enemy's hand. The competition would then dictate our every move because they would know we are just copying their tactics. The Yango market penetration strategy was capital intensive and successful. I must commend them. How do you compete against someone who looks like they have an unlimited budget? 5. I think it was because of the migration of drivers as you said. I also remember being frustrated with the delays as a customer. I experienced the said delays even with other apps that were trying to take Ulendo's spot before Yango.

Mine was attacked and lost key yesterday but he was able to drive because keyless ignition was left running. So in this case its me to replace the key or we share the bill? Awe i need to install GPS
@BornTheBuilderАй бұрын
Hmm that's so sad to hear glad he managed to escape. I'm curious to know how it happened. Drivers are really getting targeted nowadays by criminals. I hope the police can find a way to help increase safety for drivers. As an owner, installing a gps can help with tracking but safety not so much. Maybe also installing a dash camera could help improve driver safety because criminals would know that they are being recorded on camera. If you feel losing the keys was out of negligence of the driver you should charge him but if it's reasonable how he lost it, just fix it. The longer your vehicle stays off the road the less money you make. Mu Zambia, as an employer do you ever consider the psychological trauma that he has gone through after being attacked? Maybe allow your driver even a day off just to rest and appreciate life.
@marykabeli3037Ай бұрын
Negligence was there how do you go to chibolya around 20hrs. The car was actually moving but he didn't lock doors so someone opened the door and started grabing whatever was in front while the other one was fighting with him.

ehh i see what you mean, Chibolya of all places to go at night. He should have known better. He has probably learned his lesson. Ine every time I get in any car, I lock the doors because I've been robbed before in the same fashion around downtown mall in slow moving traffic. Locking doors should be a standard rule for anyone who gets into a car not just drivers. Maybe I should create a hazard map showing the dangerous areas of Lusaka city to help people plan. Interesting case study...I missed this one but have heard various versions. My 2 cents... 1. No the wife wasn't correct to keep her actual salary or increment a secret. The Bible teaches us that husband and wife are one.... this oneness shows itself in 'no-secrets' between spouses. 2. Yes the wife was wrong in helping her family secretly or privately...again husband and wife are one- no secrets....if anything his family becomes her family and vice versa. 3. No need to leave the marriage, biblical counseling which points to Jesus Christ will help the husband truly forgive and let go... 4. By God's strength I would forgive her....I must emphasize that humanely speaking it's near to impossible to forgive however God grants strength to forgive. 5. Even with the roles reversed it equally isn't okay....
@BornTheBuilderАй бұрын
1. In as much as you become one, people have different relationships with money. Some couples have a single income and the provider simply receives a bill for the household while other couples declare and combine incomes. There are also couples like the one in question where the wife's income is considered hers alone (until she gets promoted lol). So if two people agree on their style doesn't that mean there are no secrets between them? 2. Remember the father claimed "innocence". In as much as you become one in marriage, there are certain family problems that one might not want a son/daughter in-law to know about. Even blood related families have secrets which might require private help. Could it be that the problem was the scale of the help being too much money? 3. I agree, there are worse things she could have done. 4. I admire your strength. many people crumble after betrayal and live vengeful lives after. 5. I believe the major issue here was that it was a woman doing it. If the roles were reversed, that is usually the default relationship, where a couple has a single income from the husband. Men often don't declare where they spend their money or rather, don't feel their money should be accounted for. I hear Japanese men submit all their salary to their wives and only get an allowance. I wonder if African men can manage such. Additionally, some people also think about the future and about divorce so they "plan ahead" just in case.

Do you mean evaluate a property like before you buy or sell? If so, there are people called Valuers who carry out Valuation Services. They even have a professional body that regulates them. Once you engage a valuer they will assess your property/house and give you a valuation report which should state the approximate market value of the property.

Thank you for the Video, what do you mean get off Facebook or other social media when you get customary land??
@BornTheBuilder2 ай бұрын
Lol that was just a joke but with a bit of truth in it. Depending on where you buy land, you might find that the network coverage is very poor in rural areas so accessing the internet becomes frustrating because it's so slow. Suppose you decide to do farming or keep livestock on your traditional land, this takes a lot of time and dedication meaning you will be spending a lot of time there or even sleeping there supervising and developing your land. Some people are so dedicated that they end up just moving from the city completely to focus on their projects on their traditional land. Abantu ba so are the ones I was saying might have to spend less time on social media.

Thank you for the information, how can one get a genuine traditional land they are too many people on Facebook advertising traditional land ?
@BornTheBuilder2 ай бұрын
Okay, so as you said there are a lot of people selling on Facebook it's hard to know who is a trickster. Here's one way you could go about it. Firstly we need to understand that every village belongs to a Ward and every Ward belongs to a District and every District has a Council/Local Authority. Each Ward has a person who represents the people at the Council and this person is called a Councilor. You could get in touch with a Councilor and indicate that you would like to settle in their ward. They would then introduce you to the Headmen/women who report to the Chief. Then you can be allocated some space. Kindly note that not all Councilors and headmen/women are honest so ku ba ko sharp.

You're welcome. The thing is, life is cheaper in developing countries and this is also the same with construction costs. You can buy more land and build bigger/more houses with the same amount of money when you compare America to Zambia. I find it interesting that many people in Zambia think traditional land is "too far" but people who migrate from thousands of miles away find traditional land to be just close enough. As I said, there are many things to consider before taking such a step so be sure to factor in all the things you consider important as you contemplate.
