I just remembered years ago in second grade I had to do a report on Lucille Balle for some reason. I was so sad here she had died and in such a sad way (something waa wrong with her heart. Poor lady) she was such a beautiful woman. I remember seeing expensive collector Barbies of her and wanted them but even Aunt Jane couldn't afford them.

12:59 I have a very vague but certain memory my Aunt Jane had this one! I remember asking her about it. Sadly my memory is already fading and I'd give anything to once again have a very clear recollection of all the events with people who are nolonger with us. But I hold onto what I can. I thought she was a variant of Cinderella too lol very beautiful doll indeed

I thought Stacy was her younger sister? But very cool that she's British. You remind me of my late Aunt Jane. She had all kinds of vintage Barbies including the ones from the 50s that had the little tiny Barbie with her. She said if she ever passed away she wanted me to have all her dolls, knowing I would yake care of them. Sadly, my one uncle is a good person but very greedy and pawned off most of my aunt's and Grandma's stuff after they passed away so I have very few physical keepsakes to remember either of them by. But they both had the biggest influence on my personality and I have an affinity for dolls and perfumes, even though I'm a tomboy who also wants to join the Army, play football and fix trucks lol I thought Lucille Balle was Blanche Devoruex at first lol but I love them both. If I ever become a mom I'll pass on Aunt Jane's tradition and play dolls with my daughters. God bless you and I wish tou alm the best.

The Jamie Sommers doll is awesome! I had the doll as a kid and also loved the tv show. I think your old baby beans doll is so much sweeter than the newer one. My favorite baby dolls I loved as a kid were baby Chrissy and Dancerella. Do you have them in your collection?

@janetsplanet2947 I do have baby Chrissy! Mine didn't make it from childhood so I bought one i found in a dollshop when I was 19 and still have her at 54! I did have a dancerella and want another one so bad! One that doesn't break the bank. I've been looking! Now who is Jamie Sommers? Didn't know there was a show....definitely going to look into it. @janetsplanet2947 hey i just realized you were talking about the bionic woman doll🤣 I thought you were talking about the Uneeda "Jaime" doll. I had forgotten the bionic woman's name on the show was Jaime Sommers until I googled it. Her real life name was Lindsey Wagner and I ended up naming my daughter Lindsey too😊

I love the little blue and red dress with the soldiers. I had a thing of finding Canadian theme Barbies cuz I'm Canuck. I have the 1987 Canadian Barbie, the Hudson's Bay Stripes Barbie, and the Tessa Virtue figure skater, which I dressed up in a traditional lumberjack ensemble. I just need to get her a wood splitting axe! She's got a toque though! I put research in to discover what the most common hair and skin colours are in Canada, so she would be a good representation of the average or typical Canadian woman, which is brown hair and light skin. Tessa fit the bill, as well as being a Canadian Olympic medalist. : )

I washed my loving you barbie outfit, the top is made of flocked red stuff, and the red faded. : ( I think I used baking soda as it was musty. "Togs" is British slang for a set of clothes meant for a specific purpose. It is a casual term, that implies everything is a bit of a drag, which is colloquially "cool". You know, like, the Beatles.

You put the sparkle right back into those dolls. ✨✨✨✨✨✨ The little handkerchief on Skipper is so cute. My very first Barbie was the ballerina Barbie as well. I can picture myself holding her in my childhood living room but that’s pretty much it. I must have been really young when I got her.

Nice lot of dolls and great price! I just want to say (no criticism intended) - You will be so much happier in your collecting journey if you dive deep into some research on the types of dolls you are collecting. There was so much you misidentified or did not know anything about them. I feel the more you know, the more you will be able to identify at a glance. In return your money will be better spent. Also research restorations because things like the melt can be cleaned up so easily and the dolls look brand new after. Looks like you have a ton of great dolls.

I am on many doll sites, social media doll sites and use the site fashiondollz for headmold id and I watch a ton of you tube videos. Sometimes I do make videos before I have all the info on a doll because I am excited to share. I also don't know how to edit my videos and I do have brainfarts or might mis speak and realize it watching the video back but like I said I don't edit. But I am quite happy with my doll room and what I collect. Again I appreciate your feedback.

When I checked into it it seemed to be a Lundby doll which Lundby apparently makes doll houses and doll families. Either way he is pretty cool and the 2nd doll house doll I've found in the past few months. Thanks for the info! And for watching😊
