Looks like you pulled out from the Watergate Villas road. Love this video. I was a teen living on the hill by Bolongo bay. Use to hitchhike everywhere, including to and from Antilles school on this road. Great memories! Thanks! 😊

I lived on STT from 75 to 2007. I worked at Bolongo and Windward Passage. Things are really changing. Nice video. Thanks 🤗

In a good way? Does the infrastructure look a lot better than it was when you worked there? Thanks!

@@santa55monicathings are getting better, slowly but surely. Progress is slow because we are a territory, so funding and resources goes to the states first, then the territories. Even as a territory, we are the third most important territory out of the 5 inhabited ones because we are a smaller territory with different islands. Puerto Rico will be prioritized first because it’s a bigger territory and it’s mainly a singular island. Guam is second even though it’s far away from the mainland, it plays a strategic role in the pacific to monitor China and its expanding its military base and operations there.

I got to hang out down there in 1969 and 1970. The Coast Guard really had it rough back then.
