Nice Video Joan. I draw the same analogy between the terms 'informed consent' and an 'educated decision.' I use the animals cats and dogs for my 21st century comparison. Cats go 'meow' and dogs go 'woof.' With 'informed consent' an authoritative body, in this case a veterinarian, can tell you that cats go 'woof' and dogs go 'meow' and there is very little one can do to refute the claim. An educated decision, by contrast, uses evidence above all else to determine what is a cat and what is a dog. As we close the first quarter of the 21st century, i hope we can distinguish the difference between 'informed consent' and making an 'educated decision.' It isn't a matter of semantics as some may think or believe.

Hi Joan. Helpful stuff. suicides and attempts are both things that my family has experienced, and currently several family members considering it. My awareness about it has also expanded over the decades...

Hi, Laura! Glad it resonated with you. Disturbing to hear several of your family members are considering it. I think it reflects how overwhelming the current situation seems to many people and why they can only see black or white solutions..

My mother was a reincarnated concert pianist. I watched her sight-read Rachmaninov. Why is my life so unbearably lonely? I like the cold so much that perhaps I was in a Siberian gulag in the last life, dreaming to be alone.

How cool to know that, and witness that, about your mother. I think that many true lightbringers feel lonely because there are so few of us out here on the leading edge. Perhaps you were an Inuit hunter rather than a Siberian prisoner? <3

Thanks for the message I actually became my own guru but I had to do a lot of reading and listening to other teachers; And you need to slog through a lot of nonsense (which develops your critical thinking skills) I finally, at 70 years old, realized that I am God and that God is me and that literally cured me.. We are seeking outside ourselves but there's no separation

This video offers such empowering insights-exactly the kind of message people need! 🌟 However, it seems the title and description could be more optimized to make it easier for the right audience to discover. Incorporating strategic keywords into both can significantly boost visibility, attract more views, and spark engagement. With content this impactful, it deserves to reach as many people as possible!

Ego doesn't die ,it transmutes. here in Duality/Polarity our souls are experiencing the same. Hence the depiction of the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other shoulder. Emotional healing helps the negative ego aspects transmute back to light/love energy.

I recall sitting by my mom’s bed as she was dying and feeling an irrepressible welling up of pride in her and excitement for her. “Wow, Mom, amazing woman, you did it!” I kept thinking. She had always had such an unstoppable energy about her, and though her body was in pain, I felt she was leaping into an awesome, beautiful reality. I recall feeling odd as I wasn’t crying as everyone else understandably was. I felt like I had pom poms and was cheering her on to her next fun thing. 🩷

Had to take a break from a cousin, too, as the use of words like "handlers" and other such things were triggering. Being my mother's "handler" during her Alzheimer life phase was a healing time for me.. Thanks for the insights in this video.
@joannewcomb
@joannewcomb 3 ай бұрын
Oof, "handler" is a terrible term for it! I like what they say in the UK, they call us "carers" (rather than "caretakers" or "caregivers"). Much softer term (for a very difficult role)!!

I once heard that "If the human experience umbrella was slightly wider, the pains of being alive would be unbearable" which I think makes sense, here in the world even the most terrible situations always come to an end, we all die and everything ends or changes

Sorry it's taken so long to reply to you, I'd written a response but it evidently wasn't posted. Very wise insights! And, as Consciousness, I believe we're bigger than the pain. But it's challenging for the body which can be overwhelmed by it, and the body does die so it's experience of pain ends and we as Consciousness reconnect with the Love we are as Essence. xj
