Nice video! I would love to go train watching in Bulgaria, but I am not sure how I would explain what I'm doing to people who don't understand English.

@@SantaFe19484 It was a few years ago now but I had no problems filming on the platform at Sofia. Only got shouted at when I tried to walk over to the depot where I could see a large tank loco in the distance

I like the class 55, 46, 36 (steam locomotive), class 44 aka skoda 68E and I guess the 45’s look ok too. The 44 and 45 look almost identical to each other! What are the differences?

The plans on renting this loc for events has officially been cancelled in the past years because of running out of budget. However, the same museum has been opened in 2015

Sorry, I dont have details of the loco but a previous comment by @tom-lahaye suggests it is similar to a DB diesel shunted

In die 70er war ich Deutch Arbeitvermittlerungsfirma in die nähe von Stuttgart und in Geissllingen/Rampe (Bf's mahmen) da habe ich Elloks BR E 44; 44_5 BB; E94(CC) uns die E118 E119; uns las Sonderzug ein VT 11, leider nur einen Wannen Tender im Bush.

Heute erst dieses Meisterwerk entdeckt. Vielen Dank, toll gemacht. Erster Waggon hinter Lock. Besser geht es nicht. Auch der Sound ist sehr gut festgehalten. Keine Windgeräusche usw. Klasse.

so nice to hear a dcc loco with exhaust sounds actually synchronised to the loco's movements - the Jinty - four exhaust beats per wheel revolution - so often not the case!

Oh, the very efficient British railways. 1500 hp diesel for an train with 120 tons weight. And Ullapool never had an railway 😉😉 Otherwise an really well made layout.

It is actually called a Well Tank engine as the water tank is below the boiler between the wheels

Regarding these steam locomotives they have power to climb West German steep routes Spessart Rampe Laufach Heigenbrücken Gelinsgen Stuttgart Ulm München via Augsburg and Probzstella DDR Ludwigsstadt BRD lines.

Chris the Matching electric locomotives for the Y wagen are DR Baureihe 250 & 243 these are DB BR155 & 143 Diesel DB BR232 DR Baureihe

Fand die 18.201 so toll, das ich mir das Roco H0 Modell plus 2ten Tender gekauft habe und mit Loksound Dekoder umgebaut habe. Einfach optisch und akustisch ein Genuss.

I saw one of this class bizarrely in Kent pulling an engineers coach. Probably 1960/1. Did they have a driver &/a fireman, looks a little cramped on the footplate.
