I discovered this show when I dated a guy while it was on TV. It was a brief relationship, and ended because of me. I have often thought he was the one that got away. :(

A) She's not denouncing Jesus, she's pointing out that dedicating "Jesus, Take the Wheel" to a woman who's husband recently died in a car wreck is in poor taste. B) She isn't a regular member of that church and she's broke, so she wasn't planning on making an offering. The usher is waiting for her to put something in the plate, so she shoos him. It's a joke. C) Ah, jealousy. It happens, sometimes even between friends and in churches. Cricket's tired of Carlene always getting the solo.

I love how people called this show blasphemous blah blah blah. I personally have since the extremely hypocritical side of christianity and this seems very on point to me.

Well, the 2000s seems to be the era of people looking at things in any way that they need to, to find something offensive. Even when that something isn't even there, until its blown completely out of proportion, and twisted ten ways to Sunday! I loved this show! And I knew, and know, people a lot like some of the characters.

I think you’re referring to an accident Kristen had on “The Good Wife” which was filmed AFTER she filmed “GCB”. “GCB” was cancelled to not so huge ratings but it had good-enough ratings to keep going. The decision to cancel the show came around the time of the Season 1 Finale- and THEN it was cancelled, HOWEVER, they finale drew in 5 million+ in the ratings which is fairly decent for a new show. It just needed some time to find it’s audience. I’m a PROUD Christian and I was sad to see GCB go :(

The real “Bitches” are at ABC for cancelling this show! I’m a proud devout Christian and I LOVE this show! Note, I said LOVE not LOVED (past tense) because we can bring it back- sign the petitions guys! We need more Amanda, Gigi, Carlene, Sharon, Heather, Zack, Rip, Blake, and of course CRICKET!!!!!!!!! <3

The show was going to be called 'Good christian belles/Bitches', so i guess it stands for one of those. The show is actually named GCB though.

they claim ratings, but I didn't know 5.6 million views were bad, maybe it was the politics smh But then picked up a show called 666 Park Avenue!?!?!?
