I have a UPR catch can and it does work on my '18 Challenger Scat Pack. My biggest concern is that catch cans are illegal in California and my car won't pass the smog inspection with a working catch can. Since my catch can has the quick disconnect fittings, is there a male to male fitting where I can connect the two hoses together for the smog inspection? Do you have any other information about how to pass the California smog inspection?

Been wondering if I should get a catch can kit for my 2024 frontier SV since it's direct injection, but I get conflicting info as some videos say you don't need one or it will void the nissan warranty or cause issues. Can't decide if I should get one or not.

Install a Lokar shifter and you will thank me later. The 6r80 unit works perfect for the 10r80 and looks better and gives you select shift and still looks like a stick. Thanks for sharing

We used the Lokar shifter on our 2003 Cobra which we 6R swapped. It's a nice unit.

I have the same setup but Maximum suspension all around and with Weld s71 on E85 your in the 10s no problem on this setup. On pump gas 91 and pony wheels on drag radial I was in the mid to low 11s with horrible 2.0 60 foot. Enjoy beautiful job guys.

Yes, it uses the factory gauge cluster with a Ford control pack from Power By The Hour.

These are Kooks 1-3/4" headers. The rest of the exhaust from the collectors back was custom fabricated.

This is the first I hear of this catch can. Is this even necessary. My 17 sierra 6.2 is going on 230,000 miles. Bone stock. Never touched anything other than full maintenance. I don’t get it I guess.

DO LOCKTITE THE DRAIN VALVE HANDLE SCREW. Vibration will cause it to back out and fall off, and parts are not available, requiring the purchase of a new valve. Cheers, Tony

It’s a mixture of oil and gas coming from the crankcase. These are what the “blow by” gasses from your pistons look like in liquid form.

Today I installed the UPR Catch Can on my 2023 C8 Z51 Corvette (900 miles) - it took 10 minutes, wow, the quality of the Can, bracket, and hoses are of the highest quality. This is my 4th Corvette, even though I don't keep my Corvettes long, I will always know that I'm not destroying my engine, it's the principle behind owning a high performance sports car. For how to clean the catch can, Check out our how to clean your catch can video. The Explorer ST and the 2.3 ecoboost are very different, so this kit will not work on a 2.3L engine.

We are using a lift and a pole jack. The pole jack can be seen in the video supporting the rear suspension cradle near the control arm mount. This would be much harder to do on the ground with a floor jack and jack stands.

For the orange clips an easier way just use the corner of a flat putty knife, probably need to for both of them at the same time, or a couple thin pieces of sheet metal

Raise your drain pan about 4 feet and put a hole in the side of the funnel that you can put a socket extension through to unscrew the drain plug. Hold the socket handle uphill so the oil does not run through the hole in the funnel.... Then replace stupid Ford plug with this awesome drain plug!!

Drone is not that bad dude. It'll drop a cylinder on the highway while you're cruising. I think people get lost in that. This Ford has a 10-speed transmission, it will always look for a gear as you accelerate. Don't put too much thought into drone.

Had a 2015 2.7 XLT, 6'6" bed. I installed resonator version of this exact exhaust. Quiet at idle and S/S activities. Drone at highway is very acceptable. (2024--->truck totaled by hit and run driver. Buying one for next F150👍🥒🥒🥒🥒

Many Many differences. Better coalescing filters, braided rubber hoses with high quality check valves, dual valve catch can so it works throughout the rpm range, larger capacity etc.

The caps are available by calling UPR, we do not have them on our website at this time. We have Black, Chrome, Magenta/ pink shown, and blue.
