@StreamingIraqWarVeteran care to take that back? I literally just looked it up and it's under "Using the infotainment/climate switchable controller." Under that is "setting the default mode." Under that it states: "Press and hold the button to select the default mode for the control panel. After the setting, the control panel will return to the default mode after a certain period even if the control panel is switched to the different mode. If the mode is set to 'OFF', the control panel will display the mode used recently." Took me like 2 minutes to find. READ THE MANUAL STUPID

it's to bad you couldn't flip your radiator 180 it help make your pump last allot longer, I didn't install the software, and it still works great. I have my Rad installed on top my phantex case wouldn't fit on the front of the case where I wanted it.

I'm actually looking at this tire for in the future. I currently have Michelin's on my car now but evidently they had cracking issues where the tread meets the sidewall and is a common problem from them that were manufactured about 10 yrs ago. I have a set of snow tires I can swap that will get me past the yearly inspection so I won't have to buy a set at least until Spring. I also have a brand new set of Falken Sincera SN250 A/S that was puchased for the other car which also needs a new set. On TireRack the Falken's are rated well but they don't have any ratings for these Toyo's, they aren't really that much more expensive and is an H rated tire vs T, 75k mile warranty vs 80k for the Falken's. The mileage warranty doesn't really concern me as I more/less need to be replacing them by length of time rather than the mileage. I changed jobs so the mileage is significantly lower now.

I have about 2500 miles on it and so far it's been perfect and great. Love the ride and the almost 200hp with the AWD it takes off like a rocket. I don't have any complaints.

You need to actually read the details as well. You have very little knowledge and you don't actually know really anything about the major difference between the two. If you actually had rea the specs and details it's not hard to see. Bottom line is hyundai yesthe look similar but that's it. They don't offer awd. They have smaller motors even with the turbo that put out less horse power. Not to mention they use crappy CVT TRANSMISSIONS that will fail. That major differences. That's the difference with me. I do my research and I look at the facts.

Hyundai is the parent company of Kia. Hyundai and Kia cars share mechanical components, and equivalent models are usually the same exact car with different styling (e.g. Hyundai Sonata and Kia K5, Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage, Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride, etc.) Smartstream doesn't mean anything besides being Hyundai's engine "branding" which signifies that they're designed for fuel economy and reduced emissions. Hyundai/Kia cars are great bang for the buck for short term ownership (e.g. 3 years) and leasing, because they put more money into the interior and technology/features while cutting back on the quality of some of the mechanical components. I'm leasing a 2024 Sportage currently. But I would not try to keep one long term for that reason, as there's a higher risk of issues down the line. On the flip side you have companies like Toyota who skimp on the interior and technology/features and are still more expensive cars, simply because they put so much more money into the quality of the mechanical components to ensure the cars are durable and last a long time.

I wouldn't expect some idiot like this to really know the actual differences. Probably because you're to stupid to look it up. Yes it looks a little close. But you had any intelligence at all and learned to read you would see that the power trains are very much different. Kia power train is much better and offers AWD where the other doesn't. Kia offers a 2.5L at its biggest motor where the other is a 2.0L with a CVT type transmission WHICH IS GARBAGE. No awd smaller motors even with the turbo putting our less horse power then my 2.5L. THOSE ARE ALL BIG DIFFERENCES DUMMY SO NEXT TIME ACTUALLY READ BEFORE MAKING YOU'RE SELF LOOK STUPID

@StreamingIraqWarVeteran people talk shit on hyundai kia for a reason it's not like it was made up. The motors and now transmissions are not the best. People think if a car doesn't have problems in the first 30k-60k it's reliable NO!. longevity reliability is what you want unless you trade your vehicle in every 5 years then you will be ok. 100k plus without major repair is not what hyundai kia is known for but maybe if you do your maintenance on time it won't blow up like so many have. K5s are nice looking though.
