Nice review... If there's any hesitation on consumers... It will be on how dedicated is BAIC Philippines in staying and supporting buyers of their products in the future. We don't want to get stuck with a car without any replacement parts.

I followed this guy simply because of his very informative, engaging and exhaustive review. Besides the quality of his video editing or production is exceptional. I stopped watching car influencers that are cosmetics reviews. They simply devolved to sales agents in simpler description.

almost the same pricing strategy as the other BYD cars-almost twice the price from China. I think that it is a mistake considering a tiny car with a 900k price tag as most people associate a tiny car with a tiny price and low end of the car market are more price sensitive. This is more than 300k pesos more than automatic Wigo. I think the price premium of the Seagull should max at 150k above the Wigo.

Practicality? I don't think so. You can hardly bring this car to the provinces with no charging station yet. So I guess it's not "yet" really practical.

@jansSundews I think end of the day it really depends on each individual's needs. I travel mostly in the city so 300kms will suffice and maybe I can go further with proper planning (as most EV owners should, just to be safe). But I can definitely respect others needing more range just to feel more secure. Thanks for watching!😁

@@NotAProDrayber I agree po. But for most of us who like to travel to some remote area/s. Like, beach to relax, camping or simply exploring the provinces. It's simply not that practical car.

@jansSundews True true, for trips like that - I suppose Hybrids are really ideal. There are E-REVs, PHEV, and long-range EVS. Or, of course, traditional ICEs. For cars this small, I guess we will have to wait for tech to catch up and give us that security. 😁🏕
