@DouglasMello457 they didn't completely remove it... just dismantled most of it including desyncing all the visual cues from the damage windows and moving the damage window to the end of all moves.....

@chickenmanlol776 I used rare candy on mine, and took it to level 40. I don't have any regrets. I don't recall how much candy is given but not enough to power up and 2nd move. Mega Diancie is over 30 seconds faster than mega aerodactyl and over 40 seconds faster than mega tyranitar (vs moltres, all at 40, weather boosted) so absolutely it's "good" and I would invest in any IV, let alone a 96%! A level 40 mega Diancie is also still over 20 seconds faster than a level 50 mega aerodactyl! So you don't need to use rare XL candy if you don't want to.

@puipui491 what do you want to see? I have not that many level 50s vs most challenge raiders, some HORRIBLE IVs that I've powered up just because I needed something to use, and a distinct lack of shinies because I think most of them are ugly. A tour of my pokebox would probably look quite different to many people's!

@v1haan476 haha well there's a reason actually! He's named after Alolan Exeggutor. That particular rotation, I'd decided I wanted to get a level 50 kyogre. And I actually saw a perfect one!! But there was a global game issue, and it was impossible to catch. Everyone who raided with me also couldn't catch it. I was stuck on an infinite loop of 15 balls left. I was so angry, and of course all Niantic Support did was give me a replacement raid pass. I was too angry to do any more raids. Then, my friends decided they wanted to do a kyogre raid with all alolan Exeggutor and screen record it because it would look ridiculous. A sea of Gregs! So I agreed to do 1 raid with them to help. The kyogre from that raid was also perfect, and I caught him (wow, the game worked!!) So that's why he's called Greg

@gov-on hey! Your trainer level doesn't really matter, it's about your pokemon, friendship levels, and how you do the raid. Are the pokemon you're describing rock type pokemon with rock moves? What are the teams you're hoping to use? I would recommend getting help from at least 1 more experienced player if possible. But it may be possible depending on what the pokemon are that you are wanting to use I would also recommend making a battle party where you select your best pokemon (for moltres that is always rock types with rock moves). Then when doing the raid, you can revive your pokemon and re enter the raid with the same party

@zaion8917 a LOT of practice... and particularly about being careful about when I'm tapping- if you tap too fast, your pokemon is often busy doing an extra fast move, and can't dodge I can do a video purely about dodging if you're interested?

@@frealafgb By tapping too fast, you mean some kind of buffered attack that would prevent your dodge?

@zaion8917 yes, exactly! If you double tap, the game does 2 moves, so it basically queues the 2nd move for you. I believe you can also queue a charged move. That's usually what happened when you try to swipe and the pokemon doesn't jump to the side. The other main thing that happens is not swiping at the right time. There's a flash on the screen when the move is going to hit you and do the damage. That doesn't happen at the same time as the log says "moltres used fire blast". Each move has a different "damage window". That's the gap between the log message (when the move starts) and the damage hitting. The flash means a circle of white radiating lines coming out towards the edges of the screen, and the ground turns yellow. If you start looking out for that, that's the correct time to swipe.

@@frealafgb Ty, I was aware of the flash but my Pokémon would not dodge in time if I did not stop way before, probably because of buffer then.

@zaion8917 yeah sounds like over tapping then. You can Google "gamepress smack down" and the gamepress site will show you the move cooldown for smack down. Then search gamepress for fire blast, and get the damage window. You'll be able to then see how many smack downs can be done during the time before that fire blast is going to hit. Often, you will be able to fit 1 or 2 fast moves in. It varies from move to move - sometimes you can fit 6, and sometimes you can't fit any at all!

@@Poke-Raids yeah it really was quite challenging. Moveset makes a big difference - I'm sure thunder punch would have been okay 😅

@KrannieTV it isn't a feature, it's just that raids are pretty broken! Bosses don't always regain HP on relobby, and the regen is a random amount too. If it was a feature it would be consistent. Regen can also happen while battling, without any relobby. Often happens when there is a phantom charged move from the boss (ie deals damage without a charged move animation or log message) Raids are super non functional

Yes it's really straightforward with fighting pokemon using fighting type moves. I had seen a few people saying they could not solo it, so decided to make this video to show it doesn't have to be difficult

yea I saw the post and this is probably the easiest solo shadow raid so I dont get how some people couldnt do it

@TheAgarillobob I think there's a few ways... First would be not using fighting types, or using quite weak ones and not dodging enough to avoid a rejoin. 2nd would be the game breaking ie boss HP regenerates, so you don't have to do 100% of the raid, its more like 110%... which is common. Phantoms where your mons receive large amounts of damage unrelated to the boss using a charged move (often accompanied by regen!). But I'm honestly wondering more about the first, because typically experienced raiders who like a challenge can identify some of the glitches and will retry.

@@frealafgb yea apart from bugs and glitches people that try to do this solo should have adequate pokemon of a high enough level with the right moveset

That isn't accurate at all. My friend invited me to the raid, so she is shown in the lobby. However, you can see there is no friends symbol inside the raid (handshake icon at the top). She only hosted the raid for several of us who needed it, but she didn't join herself as the whole point was to solo. The raid boss doesn't take damage while I'm out of the raid reviving. In fact, many of the times I tried this, it gained health! I'm not here to brag about stuff I haven't done, that's just pointless.

​@frealafgb you can't solo mega alakazam. In your start lobby it's empty. In your raid lobby there's someone there. That proves you clipped it out. The damage your doing is not possible with a 4* maxed level 50 mega gengar. I should know because I have a best buddy 4* level 50 gengar and I couldn't even solo it. I even tried doing the party play damage boost and I still couldn't solo it. Thus proving my orginal statement that this is fake.

@WoahNelly88 you can solo it. My video, and the countless others on KZbin prove it. I wasn't the first, and this video is over a year old now. I have a more recent one from this week as well! Pokebattler.com also proves it with simulations. Level 50 mega Gengar has a time to win of well under 300 seconds. My friend is now even aiming to do the no weather boost solo, which will again use Mega Gengar. That's how fast it is! And we now have shadow chandelure and shadow Gengar to back it up. Next time someone invites you to a raid and leaves, check out how the lobby looks. They are in the lobby when you heal, but not in the raid at the beginning, and no friendship logo shows up inside the raid. That's how you validate a solo. I'm not here to argue - my goal in sharing these videos was actually just a way to get a badge on a raid challenge discord server initially, but then also to share how I approach these raids and hopefully inspire more people to try. In terms of your own attempts, it's very possible that the raid broke and the boss gained HP, meaning you wouldn't be able to complete the raid with your mega Gengar. That happened to me several tries before I got this raid done. Raids are pretty broken. If you find a foggy double psychic, or fire punch then mega tyranitar and shadow tyranitar can solo even at level 40 nowadays with brutal swing. If you're using party power then that's a duo, not a solo, but I assume you mean with the other person not attacking? I think something went wrong, because honestly you should have won if you also had party power! Maybe it was not foggy? Maybe your team aside from the gengar wasn't so strong? Maybe the game was it's usual broken mess? Feel free to post a video and we can figure out what went wrong.

But since this was extremely easy, I didnt have to rejoin, so you won't see anything about the lobby when reviving because I only needed 3 pokemon! Aww, yes, it's a shame fog is so rare. It was a little misty here in real life this morning, but the game said rain. I also had very thick fog a few days ago that lasted till around 11am, but in game it was cloudy. Its always frustrating how fog isn't actually a rare weather in real life, at least not in the UK, but the game just doesn't pick it up since it has to be predicted the night before. I hope you get to try eventually! You have an ideal team for it!

Thanks! Stacking charged moves avoids feeding the boss energy, so it can cause it to become less aggressive. I was basically trying to do as much of the raid as possible with my mega and l50 shadow so I tried a few things to make that easier. It turned out not to matter, but I hadn't done this moveset before so I was being a little cautious.

Awww yes I completely feel your pain there. Feeding gems is very glitchy, and often seems like you lose the gem but nothing changes so you feed more than are required before the boss subdues. I think it is indeed a desync between the server and the phone, it's super annoying and has happened since 2017. Original glitches still in full force..... Boss HP regen is also super bad. I didn't spot it while I was angrily ranting in my video and finishing up the raid but when we see the surprise excadrill the boss also regains some health, just prolonging the agony at that point haha

Gotta patch that double spawn radius first, that one was too dangerous to Pokemon GO's long-term health!
