it's really not that bad, I got more so unlucky with the hunt overall. You mainly just have to pay attention to when to throw celebi out to battle every reset. I have link Mike's video in my description if you ever wanted to hunt it for yourself! 😄

Cool. I caught a shiny Staryu few days ago. I was just fishing randomly at Olivine City to level up a bit my Bayleef. Easy catch since I had a Net Ball on me.

Like I mentioned in the intro it’s not my original save files I took Mike’s Celebi save and dumped it onto 4 of my actual physical games using an r4

Wow! Really exciting to see this pop into my recommended. I considered doing this hunt last year, but opted to do it in Crystal instead and potentially do blisy's event for 3rd gen. I commend anyone who attempts this method. Risking phases and finding the shiny while only relying on the sparkles must be an insane feeling.

Yes it was insane finding the shiny Celebi when it finally appeared it was such a jump scare in a way when the sparkles showed up. Good luck on your Celebi too! And thanks!

A really nice chance of cenary after being stuck in FRLG safari for awhile. You couldn't ask for a thrilling and exiting safari week than this. Major congrats man, next year should be an even awesome experience :) Also side note, as I was watching this while hunting I noticed the in-game quality was really good and that made me to try to improve on my side and now, it looks better than ever. Thank you for that!

Thank you as well! I always try running my games and my recording at the best quality my computer can run to record and still manage to do it while having 2 seperate recordings. Definitely was really happy with this outcome this Safari Week and had a ton of fun!!

HGSS is soo good to hunt in, I get people love getting that chansey but like everything else there I agree is basically garbage, I've done 88 phases for my chansey and yea finding like 30 rhyhorns is super boring
