I drove 2 hrs to receive training in muay thai from Tom! I also took his work shop and have all his books. He was also on my podcast. His exploration of the fighting arts is deep into history and tradition which is so important, it must not be forgotten. If you train in fighting arts (steel Mace included) you have to understand the traditions. Tradition is foundation!

was a great conversation , many very interesting points to think about aamm and history. I keep thinking that art of war and aamm are different. But, again, very interesting...!!

The answer is always to gain access to the hips and shoulders. The art of immobilization as it leads to strangulation and breaking. Ecological dynamics has transformed how I look at grappling.
