Thank you for not spoiling the fuck out of the show, you picked a good title and a good teaser of a thumbnail. I swear half the suggested fan videos/clips etc. are spoilers these days...

Can someone explain it to me, because after season 2 I am not sure: was Vander the biological father of Vi and Jinx? Or was he just close friends with their mother? In girls flashbacks their fathers face is obscured, but he kind of looks like Vander...

This show has many "if only... Then this could've been" moments. But everytime there was is some individual making a very understandable mistake because they believe they're doing the right thing and ruin everything. Jynx is the one who has the name, but in reality everyone is at some point the one who jynxes it. And this is exactly why this show is so good. Many things that happen around our lives are chain reactions of actions and consequences triggering more actions and having different consequences of different people. Eventhough Viktor waging war to eradicate people's freedom of thought is something that made me lose sympathy for him, what I previous described is exactly why I understand this decision.

But i still dont understand because vander turned on silco before the fight at the bridger from s1, where vis parents died. So vander turns on silco before her death, when they were younger. But they never explicitly state why. Wish theyd given a background dtory

So like…he had a beard when he was on the bridge where their mother’s corpse was but he didn’t have a beard when he tried to kill Silco.

I don't like that Vander apologized to silco. I see this as a way to discredit a strong male influential character in the series. This second season has been a huge let down.
@SkyeArrow2223 күн бұрын
A great man knows when to apologize, especially for the greater good of their surroundings. Men and women who lie and pretend everything is fine are the reason why Piltover and Zaun are in the state they are in, in the first place. Vander does not get discredited in the slightest. Season 2 gives more back story on why things turned out to be. Vander manned up and took care of Zaun and its children (literally). He was not perfect but did more than most, clearly.

If vander tried to kill silco right after the death of felicia, then why does he wear no beard in the scene of the aggression but he does wear one in the introduction scene were he shows to vi and powder the dead body of their mother?

Wait, if it's supposed that the battle where Vi and Jinx mother died its the same that where Vander drowned Silco (or at least both events are pretty close in time), why in the Silco flashback he has not beard but when he takes care of Vi and Jinx he has? It is a continuity error? Or he saw Felicia dead, he took care of both Vi and Jinx, he returned to home, he shave his beard and returned to try to drown Silco? What crazy moment to shave your beard, lol

I still think that letter is also an unspoken apology between Vi and Jinx, we know that the signature at the end “V” in the letter is vander, but I would like to take it as Vi's unspoken words,The words that Silco wanted to hear subconsciously Jinx also needed. Understanding Silco and Vander's situation perhaps made Jinx reflect, having Isha, She definitely wanted to end the cold war. Break the cycle. (We know that the voices Jinx hears are, in part, her subconscious, so she had raised the idea of leaving there)
@beirdo1025 күн бұрын
I think so too. That one second frame where Vi is reaching her hand to touch jinx made me think vi feels exactly like Vander in the letter but when jinx replies Vi realised jinx doesn't see it that way and doesn't touch jinx

Vander tried to kill Silco by anger but realized he made a mistake way too late (Vander hoped he would find the letter but he never came back to the mines thingy) Vi abandoned Jinx by anger but realized she made a mistake way too late (she couldn’t get her anymore because of Marcus arresting her and if she tried to get Jinx back , Silco would have killed her) Silco never forgave Vander (or maybe “did” but was too prideful to actually do it) , Jinx forgave Vi at some point … they are the parallels of each other (siblings who loved each other who ended up hating each other) but Jinx and Vi had the strength to “break the cycle” … 🥲

The feeling I had was that that time going over the bridge (which Vander himself says he led the people over the bridge) after Felicia died, Vander realized in that moment that it wasn't worth getting people killed or hurt for. He wasn't opposed to violence originally, he was known for it all across the underground, he hated the enforcers too, he was angry, he saw that same need to fight that he had in Vi. But we saw on the bridge after Felicia died and when Vi and Powder came to him that he realized the weight of what had happened, and he felt like all that loss was his fault. That was the moment he decided he wasn't going to give up or sacrifice the people of the underground to get the nation of Zaun anymore. But I don't think Silco came to that same conclusion. I think maybe even after Felicia's death, after Vander had to take in her kids Silco probably kept pushing to go back over the bridge. Silco probably wanted to keep fighting, to go to war with topside. But Vander was so focused on the loss of Felicia, of having to take in her kids, and the unwillingness to lose more people that Silcos push to continue fighting as they had been felt like he didn't care about Felicia or anyone else's death, it was a necessary loss for the cause, he was willing to sacrifice people. Before Vander dies when he's talking with Silco he says "This isn't the way". At some point after crossing the bridge Vander and Silco completely diverged on what they felt was right and necessary to get the Nation of Zaun. And if Silco was showing he was okay sacrificing the very people of Zaun, that may have made him look dangerous. And especially in a time when Vander was grieving the loss of Felicia, who died because of the push to fight topside, that could be the catalyst of Vander losing his head. Vander felt a new weight of responsibility for every life in the lanes, and Silco felt like lost lives were a part of the end goal. They came out of it with conflicting views on progress and death.

I still don’t get why Vander attacked Silco for no reason. How was Felicia’s death Silco’s fault? And why are people assuming Silco was the one who chose violence? Vander literally said he led the bridge raid.
@LordVerdo6 күн бұрын
Makes you think Silco directly got her killed. Or Vander just wanted someone to blame for her death.
@kanyerahming6 күн бұрын
@@LordVerdo Yeah I think her dying had something to do with Silco but the only problem is that they didn't say that, so me assuming that is headcanon. It just makes no damn sense for Vander to try to murder his best friend for something that wasn't his fault, unless it was. Whatever the case, Vander feels super guilty about it later and doesn't even try to justify it, meaning Silco probably didn't do anything wrong lmao. I don't know. This retcon is just stupid.
@LordVerdo5 күн бұрын
@@kanyerahming It’s a bit weird. Feels like there are things left unsaid, story wise. I feel like it might be Silco convinced her to join in the fight and she died during it so Vander blamed him. But regretted it because Felicia was an adult and could have made that decision without Silco.

@@LordVerdo I hope so. That actually would make sense lmao
