Culturally Jamaicans do not do housework on Sundays. Sunday is held very Holy in Jamaica. It’s church and rest. A lot of family even cook on Sunday. On Sunday in Jamaica we listen to gospel music for the most part. If you go to Jamaica you will not hear only gospel and church blasting from every corner. In America people do different things. Younger generations do different things But take a trip and go into any neighborhood you’ll see that difference. The stores are still mostly closed

I could listen to you two the whole day. The culture is different, but both like storytelling. It is in both cultures. I sometimes feel Americans don't realise how Western they are. While Jamaicans are more between the both. Their food says it all. Jamaican Creole/Patwah is a language in itself. I love how you blend. Very nice

Sister, I understand your point, but at least he was born in America by Jamaican parents. Try dating a Jamaican, born and raised in Jamaica, living in America married to a man from The Bahamas. We made a solid business couple for the most, however, in a relationship it was totally difficult because of our cultural differences. Jamaicans are head strong people and so are Bahamians people. You guys will be just fine,it shows due to this video. Big up yourself king man, bless up yourself sister...live life and laugh a lot,GODS BLESSINGS.

Caribbean people on a whole usually go to church on a sunday, most people play chrisian music.IN HIS case it's a choice, it's a cultural thing in the Caribbean.

When it comes to the music I don't see a big difference because most Jamaicans grew up on American Soul music, and Sunday is church day and not cleaning.
