I just picked this up and really appreciate the overview! I read through the instructions but missed that the resource cards are added back to the bottom of the resource piles, that was the tip I needed! Thanks!

I don't like the fact that it doesn't give new heroes to play with but instead just make the current ones stronger. Unlike the previous edition expansions

Nice review, I just stumbled onto Gloom of Kilforth, and have enjoyed it very much. I want to expand the variety of encounters and classes, but I am not sure I want a whole new base game. Since you have it all, do you think adding not only the expansion for gloom, but also the expansions for shadows and call, can be compatible enough with a few tweaks? Do the expansions include new ancients? or only quests, enemies, etc. Thanks for the content, it would be awesome to have a mix and match video on this fantastic series.

Thanks for validating my recent addiction to playing this game. I have the retail version which I'm very happy with but I get what @Thebrokenmeeple says about some of the raiders blocking board information. My only & a very minor complaint. Love this game!

Minor spelling error in title. :-) Also don't kill me, but it's not my #1 game! ;-) It's hard to say whether something is overproduced when you spend £140 on it though. For £60 the retail copy is about what I'd expect for a £60 game in terms of production. But the £80 deluxe upgrade can do one especially for game trayz which aren't even that good from word on the grapevine and giant raider miniatures that block board information.

We love Shadow Ninjas in our house! Though, my kids prefer to play a co-op varient. As long as a Ninja reaches the koi, both kids are happy. Guard Dog Dad has his work cut out every play!

The game looks great. Beautifully designed art. But I agree it does look complicated to track the modules. Maybe if the game has a good replayability limit, you would get used to it. Good review dude

11:00 it was looking like a good game up until the yahtzee mini game XD wtf.

Love the IP, but I wouldn't touch this implementation for anything. With the glaing flaws, lack of care, terrible gameplay and outright broken balance, this is just a horrible exploitation of the computer game which -was- made with meticulous attention and respect for its players.
