Folks do NOT cut towards your hand as in this demo very dangerous, it WILL hurt!!!!!

No definitely not. Its stuff that's got charcoal on the back so drawing on the front leaves marks on whatever is behind

I just ordered a kit to carve some stamps. I am not very good at drawing but will try my hand on a cactus first since it's easy 😅

Please consider making more videos, you never know who you are helping with it. People don't feel so alone when they know that another person is going through the same thing as them. I too craft for meditation and also because it brings me a lot of joy. I just ordered my very first carving kit ☺️ So, wish me luck 🤞

I got mine from Japan years ago :( Good news is, I found a cutter at National Bookstore with the same angle of the cutter. Maybe try the closest one to you? ☺️

I'm finding my biggest problem is gouging deeply into my eraser as I am cutting. You make it look so easy & your stamps turn out gorgeous. Mine look like very rough. 🙂 I know I will get better at it. 🌈🙏💜🌈

You make it look so easy! I've almost cut my fingers so many times. Still can't get use to slanting the blade away frm my fingers. 😁

Try putting some poly clay or sticking tape over most of the blade just leaving the tip showing, might help you while you train your fingers to stay away
