The 20 has a slightly folksier tone - better in my mind. But yes the Lee O is more solidly made.

Do you know the order of keys of the Hohner Piccolo from low to high? Is high A the highest? (just the richter tuned ones, not the moll) Thanks
@kenLeiboffАй бұрын
G is the lowest, then A
@jeredcaywood8218Ай бұрын
@@kenLeiboff Much appreciated. I've seen used ones on Ebay in D, Bb, and H (B) and wanted something really high pitched without spending $90 on a Seydel high Bb. I'll go for an A then. Thanks

I’d rather have the Seydel

I've had the special 20, lee Oskar and Suzuki pro master. Special 20 is nice but not much os life span and then it's thrown away. Lee oskar are nice a reliable with the ability to change the reed plates. Suzuki is a great harp and also the ability to change reed plates when they go bad.

This isn't as "mini" but the babyfat 7 hole is quite a good harp and is a bit easier to play. You can get one for under $20 on sale from time to time in different keys and tunings.

Right you are. I have a whole set of baby fats. They didn’t exist when I made this video

What key is the harmonica you're playing here?
@kenLeiboff4 ай бұрын
C key
@yevhendvyhun4 ай бұрын
Hello, Ken! That Suzuki harmonica sounds a bit lower than C key. Is it so? The thing is I'd like to buy SCX 48 exactly in the key of F, I just need to know if it's higher or lower than the key of C (middle C or C4). Would really appreciate if you answer my message. You play very well by the way ) Cheers!

Also both the Manji and the Delta use bronze phosphor reeds which tend to be a little sweeter.
@fuckbored47242 ай бұрын
And a little different for bends for people who are used to brass reeds. Actually, just in general, phospor bronze reeds react to the breath slightly different than brass reeeds do. It takes a bit of adjustment.

Thanks for testing the Delta Frost and the Manji. Both are seldom reviewed, let alone compared.

I don't know how the YT algorithm got me here, but I sure did enjoy your version of Blackbird. Specially I loved the gutiar, hadn't seen someone mix picking the string with that very subtle strumming in between, it gives the song more body to support all the melody going on with the voices and the harmonica. A big thanks frome Chile.

I LOVE THAT TUNE. I LOVE THAT SONG. I LOVE THE EASINESS OF SINGING, TELLING OF A THOUGHTFUL ASSERTION ABOUT BLACKBIRDS. SIMPLE, EASY. THAT HARMONICA IS A CHROMATIC TUNED ONE. A DIATONIC WOULD PROBABLY SOUNDED A LITTLE EASIER, MELODIC ON THE EARS. PARDON ME, NOT COMPLAING X JUST COMING PLAIN. LOVED THIS TUNE AND THE SPIRIT IN WHICH IT WAS PRESENTED THANK YOU, MIGHTY FINE GENTLEMEN WITH A LOVE FOR AND IN LIFE.
