Bluegrass country music is The only true Country music Left. Rip Stanley Brothers. ❤❤

If Albert's picking doesn't light your fire, your wood's wet. My cousin left the country for awhile and left me with his Fender Strat and amp. I'm almost exclusively an acoustic picker but I have an old Albert Lee Virtuoso tab book I've stolen a few licks from every now and then. Now I'm going to hit it hard core with that electric. What a player. Man.

These guys were the best thing going in Bluegrass in the mid seventies, while all of us fledgling pickers were just getting started, definitely legends in their own right! Tons of talent right there!

I really miss Albert Lee with the true tele sound. The Music Man is cool, but lacks something the tele has.

Best lineup in bluegrass history. If you don't have that Tony Rice/Ricky Skaggs/Jerry Douglas CD of JD and the New South, you owe it to yourself!

How great is Albert Lee? Well, years back - maybe in the 1990s - someone grabbed Eddie Van Halen and asked him if he'd been having fun at the annual NAMM show, and who had impressed him. He just replied he had been listening to the Albert Lee show....

I've always known who Ricky Skaggs was... but I only recently started listening to JD Crowe and the New South, and I can't believe I went my whole life without even knowing about talents like Crowe, Tony, etc. These guys absolutely blow me away.
