“did not commit Himself to them” - meaning that when we don’t “know” the people we stand in front we have a tendency to give part of ourselves to them. Knowing in this sense is being aware of the Spirit telling us what’s their intentions. Giving can be counted as being led, submitted, to go under, influenced. Once you KNOW God and you know that He knows you and that intimate relationship is being cultivated daily by dying to self and living as a new resurrected being with a new identity, then you stand your ground. There are times to be fierce before men and times to humble ourselves and go through a humbling experience. It’s all from and to Him.

“The One who knows me best is the One who loves me most.” Thank you so much for sharing that. It led me the song which led me to lots of healing tears and time with God’s presence. Praise the Lord.

WHY ARE there so many preachers who blatantly deny the truth you are bringing here?? They HATE the message of our inability to believe by the WILL OF the FLESH

Thank you for the encouragement. Here is a long answer to your question. What began as an accident, has become a passion. I inadvertently started writing a devotional commentary on the Gospel of John by recording short teaching videos for social media posts. Starting with chapter 1 verse 1, I would study and contemplate a few verses at a time over the course of a day or two, turn on my cell phone camera, capture some of my unscripted thoughts, and post them to the web. But after a while, that process became so valuable to my personal devotional life, I decided to keep a written record of my journey. So, I went back and transcribed the videos I’d already made and began scripting the new ones. All of this became even more precious to me after retiring from my lifelong role as a local church pastor at the end of 2017. Once I was no longer preparing weekly teachings for my congregation, savoring a slow stroll through John’s testimony of the life and ministry of my Savior became an unexpected and treasured experience. And having the opportunity to share it with others has been the icing on the cake. After completing the first six chapters, I gathered up my scripts, edited them for publication, and released them in book form as the first volume in what I started calling, The John Project (TheJohnProject.com). Here’s what I hope others would glean from my little project: That by taking a road trip through an entire book of the Bible at a pace that allows time to not only stop and smell the roses but consider the one who planted them and for what purpose, they will discover the value and adopt the practice of interacting with the Bible in a more holistic way. Instead of thinking of Scripture as a collection of blossoms to pick through randomly, I desire to entice them with the pleasure of a stroll through an entire field of blooms. That by engaging with God’s Word consistently they will develop a craving for its delicacies along with the holy habit of regularly exposing their souls to its life-giving nourishment. That by reading the words the Holy Spirit breathed onto the pages of John’s gospel, they will learn how to hear the ones he whispers to their hearts.

John 3:16 the formula for the rapture. HERE IT IS. 3 march: 16th day in march: reverse 613 the totality of the law. Year 2023. possible but could be 2024, but it looks like 2023. Equinox! Are there not 12 hours in a day? Lazarus COME FORTH! March 16th will be the resurrection FROM THE DEAD, AND FOR THE DEAD. Does not include those who are X ED out from among the dead, WHICH IS TO SAY PRE PRE TRIB OUT RESURECTION. The bulk to living Christians today. It appears that the march 16th rapture will involve 153 million people! see repo64. Yashua waited 2 days before raising Lazarus. 2 days = 2000 years. this date 3 :16 is a date SET CERTAIN. Now you know the date of the Rapture! Let us rejoice in the glory of heavenly Father... all you need is the COURAGE TO BELIEVE. Praise and Glory to Yahova who reveilles to us our hearts desire, in Him. Now you've got it what are you going to do with it?

This verse, as David Strauss pointed out in the 19th century, only serves as a literary device. Or to expand on that, it functions as a 'drum roll' for the miracle that is about to take place. Is this gospel really 'eye-witness' testimony? Or did John feel comfortable with using the characters of Christainity as tools to score theological points?

Psalm 139:7-10 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
