This is how some dude who decides to make tutorials on KZbin think.😂 "Remember kids. You don't need that double handed chest pass. ALWAYS look to throw an alleyoop to LeBron."😂😂😂

You have to start with fundamentals.

that's why it's called a fondamental

Buddy, it’s the fundamental technique. It’s the basis, that’s why it’s taught that way. Every pass shown is the same pass mechanic from a different angle. Your thinking is why Europe now dominates basketball, they are fundamentally passing and America cannot defend it. You are the problem.

Yes, let’s prepare people for a league that 99% of them will never come close to playing in lol

Bro are you dumb this is FOR people that want to make the league what kinda comment is this?
@paolocalingasan50276 күн бұрын
Doesnt that go for everything though? How often are you gonna get a wide open stand and shoot shot. You gotta be able to dribble, pump fake, drive or pass if you wanna be serviceable but you still practice the very basic of a jump shot. If you wanna do those "1 more" type drills, then having the basics of a chest pass seems pretty necessary no?

You can focus on the shot and your body position simultaneously. If transitioning into a proper shooting stance and then focusing on the shot once you're in position feels too challenging, you either need to slow down and practice more or reconsider playing basketball altogether. Also, no offense, but I'd rather trust the advice of the best shooter in the world-someone who actually made it to the NBA-than yours.

100% agree. I'm not sure what you teach for shooting, but I think it's as simple as practicing the shot. The more you do it, the better you get. I was doing my best at shooting threes when I just shot threes more

Being most dangerous is not most skilled. Kyrie has more options of what he can do and knows 1000 ways to execute those options according to the defense. That’s most skilled. Steph has less options, but is more dangerous being the greatest 3pt shooter we’ve ever seen.

Talent is being able to jump. Skill is being able to adjust your layup in midair to your off hand on a reverse. Kyrie has the advantage there, coming from a steph stan.

Tough is being able to take those shots and get back up without crying… and do it again and again and again, knowing that these men are gonna hit you every time. Instead of flopping over a scratch old school ballers had to be mentally tough to not show that they were hurt. They would try not to let these dudes intimidate them with their fouls. when there were rivals that did not hug, help someone up after knocking them down or shack hands. But you think “tough” is a mean crossover and jump shot? No wonder this league sucks now.

You're an idiot you contradicted yourself. The Pistons won the championship two years straight. You could hold the Jock Strap of the Ball Boy of those teams.

What we mean by tough is the guys who had to deal with the clotheslines and people ripping your face off and still winning. Sorry, today's NBA is soft.

He's easily one of the worst trainers ever. He's nvr coach anyone passed Community college. His drills don't develop players at all. I wouldn't even listen to what he say. He doesn't even good off Hooper. I guarantee you he never played pass middle school.

But the question is would Brunson still have become Brunson if he was a 3rd or 4th option probably not he wouldn’t of had the Chance to become a superstar like he is now with the Knicks I don’t know 🤷♂️
