You can’t tell anybody because it’s not real practice. It’s Pseudo practice. There’s not even close to enough studies on humans to provide any real results. I’ve been taking lysine for years on and off and my weight and BMI has never changed because of it.

This was so interesting. I keep my chicken coop and pens so clean, some people who visit, ridicule me, but I don’t care. Where I live, one cannot take a sick chicken to a veterinarian without getting ridiculed, and charged an exorbitant fee because they are considered “exotic animals.” This is in a rural area, mind you.

They are too damn big. Years ago fryer chickens were small and tender, about 2/12 to 3 lbs., now they are 5 lbs. I am sure it would be easy to cure..if profit profit wasn't the main objective. Stop buying chicken until it stops. I eat more chick'n than the any man I know, it would be hard to stop. We need more young tender chic'n...

PCR result should always be interpreted in conjunction with histopathology findings in teaches. Positive PCR result alone does not mean much. Vaccines do not prevent infection, but they prevent lesions and diseases.

They use PCR to identify what IBV field variants are circulating. They use live attenuated IBV vaccines, containing multi variant viruses. They used PCR to see how effective the vaccines were when these vaccinated birds were challenged by specific field strains (sounds like they used qPCR Ct values to indicate viral loads). Note, the goal with these IBV vaccines is not only to reduce/ stop IB symptomatic disease, but also to be IBV sterilising, or if not sterilising, then to stop transmissions. So you are incorrect: the goal is to prevent infections and transmissions, not just prevent disease. A huge problem in the poultry industry is IBV mutating to variants making vaccines ineffective. So it is extremely important to stop IBV replication as much as possible.
