Rachmaninoff (no.2) and Tchaikovsky (no.1) are the yardsticks to which all other concertos will be measured. I LOVE Liszts piano music, but I'm not all that gone on his concertos. There are small bits which I like, but as a whole they lack something for me. Only my opinion !

Liszt alternates between the quietest tenderness and the most spectacular eruptions, the contrasts are thrilling 6:00.

IIt seems that clapping at the end will long last until now. The whole concert is like a major epileptic seizure in medicine as it is a continuous alteration in consciousness, and unbelievably charming.

Отлично! Buniatishvili - пианистка, которая просто не умеет играть плохо - даже если очень постарается. Liszt - великолепный композитор-романтик, музыка которого содержит сочетание очень мужественных, "сильных" интонаций и тонкого лиризма. Замечательное видео, спасибо!
